Hallo again, Effurrybody!
It is I, Queen Trixie, here again to lead my fellow J-Cats on this weekend's blog hops - the Caturday Art blog hop, hosted by the Wise and Beautiful Athena and her HuMum, Marie, and the Sunday Selfies blog hop, hosted by Our Dear Furriends, the Kitties Blue and their HuMom, Janet.
I had a hard time choosing between several lovely selfies Mummy helped me take over the Weekend but I finally narrowed it down to two - and here they are.
I like the top one, because of the way the sunlight from the window behind me plays on my fur.
And I like the second one because it shows off my floofy tail and my jewel-like eyes to such purrfection. Also, Mummy used a Soft Light filter, which makes my furs even glossier.
We popped over to LunaPic, as usual, to do the artification. For the furrst picture, We used the Surreal Painting effect, overlaid with the Watercolour art effect, at 30%:
For the second picture, We used the Frida art effect at 70%:
We don't have much time today to write a long blog, because Mummy is hosting her sister, Auntie N. and brother-in-law, Uncle B. for supper this evening - the eve of Simchat Torah, when Mewish people celebrate the completion of the annual cycle of weekly Torah readings. You can read more about it in the link Mummy helped Us find.
To be quite honest, most of the meal is being cooked by Mummy's brother, Uncle D., who is staying with Us again. He volunteered - no, really! He did! But Mummy made lots of salads to go with the meal, so She was busy all meowning and couldn't come and take dictation for this blog until quite late.
So all We have left to do for now is to put up the blog hop badges:
Next week, We hope to be able to give you an update on Milo, the little kitten who Step-Grandma was looking after, as well as news of Intruder Kitty Callicallou and Melba.
Till then, Chag Sameach (חג שמח - A Joyous Festival).
Be well. Be safe. We love you all.
