Be My Valentine!

Hallo, Effurryone!

Caspurr here! I expect you are all pre-purring for the Valentine's Day Ball. I have already asked the Ladycat of my choice to be My Valentine, and I hope I'm not too late. She knows who she is and I won't mention any names, but I know there must be effur so many Mancats who would like to escort her to the Ball...

Meanwhile, my sisfur Trixie is furry worried and afraid no-one will ask her to be their Valentine. She is really shy - although she tries to hide it.  But I'm sure she has nothing to worry about. She is such a Truly Beautiful Kitty, I've told her the Mancats will be lining up to dance with her. But I don't know if she is convinced...

See you all on Furr-iday the 14th!

In Case You Were Wondering...

Hallo, Effurrybody!

We suppose you've all been wondering where we had disappeared too. Haven't you?

Well, as usual, it was all the Human's fault. She went cavorting off to EUROPE with her Caterwauling Club buddies, to appear in some concerts, leaving Us in the care of a friend of hers from where She used to work, who came effurry day to feed Us. And when She came back, She didn't even bring us Prezzies! Wasn't that Mean of her?

And to think we were so Good while She was away! We didn't break anything! And when her friend accidentally left the door to her study open, all we did was eat one of her Sick Lemons - it wasn't our fault that the other flowerpot was so close that it got knocked over onto the sofa. If She will put the flowerpots so close together that there isn't room for a kitty to turn around safely without overturning something, what can She expect?!

As for all the earth that was spilled on the sofa and the carpet, all She had to do was activate the Sucky Monster. And she didn't have to do that at one o'clock in the morning when She got home, did She?

All in all, though, she was so furry happy to see Us again (and We to see Her), that she didn't even raise her voice when she saw all the earth trodden into the carpet. And her Cleaning Lady came the next day and cleaned effurrything up, so now we're all back to normal.

Which was a Good Thing, because today, someone came round to see the flat (a purr-spective buyer, Mummy says), and tomorrow, the Real Estate Lady is bringing someone else to see it.

So We are keeping our paws crossed, because the sooner Mummy sells this flat, the sooner She'll be able to buy another one, bigger, better and maybe with a garden or catio. We would so-o-o-o like that.

See you all again soon, dear Anipals!
