Ending the Year With a Sunday Selfie

Hallo again, Effurrybody!

Queen Trixie here, with the Final Sunday Selfie of 2019.

In this picture, I was enjoying a sunpuddle, and lazily beckoning to My Petcretary and Purrsonal Assistant (a.k.a. Mummy) to bring Me some Treats.
At least, I think that's what I was doing. I can't really remember. I think I was half asleep.

Meanwhile, the boys had found themselves another sunpuddle in the Boudoir.

We were furry glad that Mr. Sun had decided to come back and visit Us, after several days of almost continuous skywater, which had made it impossible for Mummy to go down and feed the homeless kitties (for which She suffered terrible Guilt Pangs). There were even thunder boomies, which made Us hurry to snuggle up close with Mummy under the coverlet to purrtect her from the storm.

We are joining the Sunday Selfies blog hop, hosted by the Kitties Blue and their HuMom, Janet.

Before We start hopping, We wish those of you who celebrate it one final "Happy Hanukkah" (tonight, We lit the eighth and final candle). We also wish you Shavua Tov (a Good Week). And since today is also Rosh Chodesh (the furrst day of the Hebrew month of Tevet), We also want to wish you Chodesh Tov (a Good Month).

And last, but not least, as the civil year is now ending and We are saying Goodbye to 2019 and Welcome to 2020, We wish you all a Happy Mew Year!

And now, let's get hopping (mol).

Furrst, We put up the badge:

And off We go!

Happy Hanukkah, Meowy Chrissymouse, and Remembering Pixie

Greetings, Effurrybody!

Shavua Tov (a Good Week) to all of you!

We have a LOT to get through today! Furrst of all, tonight we light the furrst candle of Hanukkah - and that means the Humans will be scoffing loads of sufganiyot (doughnuts) and levivot or latkes (potato pancakes), all dripping with oil, which they won't share with Us, because all that oil and fried food is Bad for Felines. We hope Mummy will make it up to Us with extra Fancy Feast (mol)! Come to think of it - Fancy Feast latkes sounds like a purrty good idea, don't you think?

On Monday December 23rd, it will be eight years since Precious Princess Pixie received her angel wings.  That was on Hanukkah also. If We go by the Hebrew calendar, it will actually be the day after, but We will, in any case, be thinking about sweet Pixie all through Hanukkah. Mummy always sees her beautiful face in the flickering flames of the Hanukkah lights. That's like - one candle for each year since Pixie flew away to the Rainbow Bridge.  And then Mummy tells Us stories about Pixie and Possum, who created this Blog, so that We are mindful of Our Heritage.

Then, on Tuesday evening, it is Chrissymouse Eve, when many of you will be expecting a visit from Santa Claws. We hope he will bring you lots of nice purresents.

Today, of course, being Sunday, is the day when Our Furriends Dezi and RaenaBelle from Deziz World, celebrate each week with their Blest Sunday post, and effurry Chrissymouse, they send a Blessing Train all around the World.

This year, We, too,  are taking part and We have added Our Own Boxcar to the Train.

Here is Our Boxcar. It has pictures of the three of Us, Trixie, Caspurr and Shimshi - and also a Hanukkah Menorah, to symbolise joy and light, and yellow roses to symbolise furriendship. We think Love and Furriendship are two of the Greatest Blessings imaginable and We are furever grateful that We have been blessed with a warm and comfortable Home, a Mummy to love Us - and all of You as furriends.

Mummy worked furry hard on this boxcar and since it includes selfies of the three of Us, We think it is an appropriate entry in both the Caturday Art blog hop, hosted by the wise and beautiful Athena and her HuMum, Marie, and  the Sunday Selfies blog hop hosted by the wonderful Kitties Blue and their HuMom, Janet.

Since We are taking part in more than one blog hop today, We are posting their badges and giving links to them all, and at the bottom of the page, We will post the lists, one after the other.

Now all that remains is for Us to wish all of Our furriends and their Humans, Happy Hanukkah, Meowy Chrissymouse, a Joyous Kwanzaa (We hope We haven't left anybuddies out!) and may the Great Cat in the Sky bless each and effurry one of you.

Chag Sameach  -  HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Caturday Art from Jerusalem

Greetings, Effurryone!

Here We are again, Trixie, Caspurr and Shimshi , wishing you Shavua Tov (a Good Week) from Our Palace in Jerusalem.

Mummy is feeling royally pissed off a trifle peeved, because She spent an hour and a half on one of those websites that supposedly allow you to do free photo editing, making a collage of all the homeless kitties and woofies that She saw on holiday in Greece this summer, as She purromised to do - only to discover that She can't save or share her creation unless she pays for an upgrade. So much for so-called freebies.

So instead, you will have to be satisfied with a picture of Us, which she artified using her favourite LunaPic. This was originally a picture of Shimshi and Me (Caspurr), enjoying a sunpuddle. She added Trixie, using GIMP, which is like PhotoShop, but free. Mummy doesn't use it furry often, because She says it is complicated and not at all User-Furriendly.

After adding Trixie, Mummy used two effects from LunaPic, Lake (at 73%) and Water, to create this picture:

Then, just for the fun of it, She also tried this 3D effect:

We aren't too sure about this one. It's true We like boxes - what Kitty doesn't - but We prefurr one each!

What do you think?

At any rate, We think both are good enough to repurresent Us in the Caturday Art blog hop hosted by the Beautiful and Wise Athena and her HuMum, Marie. We hope you agree!

Before We go, We wanted to answer a question We were asked last month, after posting a Guest Selfie of Our Uncle Messi, the Woofie. Some of you were wondering what breed he is. Well, he appears to be a Canaan Dog - a breed which has been around for thousands of years and which was, according to tradition, the guard-dog and herd-dog of the ancient Israelites.

And now it is time to go blog-hopping!

So, here is the badge:

And off We go...

Sunday Selfies - Whatever Lola Wants...

Hallo again, Effurrybuddies!

Shavua Tov (a Good Week) to you all!

Once again, We have invited one of Our Extended Furrmily Members to repurresent Us in the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop, hosted by the Kitties Blue and their HuMom, Janet.

The Star of today's Guest Selfie is Lola Bunny, who is our sort-of second cousin, as her Mummy is Our Mummy's youngest niece, Romy.  (Mummy says that makes her Our cousin-once-removed.)  We have shown you pictures of Lola before, remember?

Anyway, since Mummy was at Auntie Yuli's home the other day, celebrating Romy's 13th birthday, and taking pictures of all the family including Lola, We thought We would offur Lola the oppurrtunity to be the Star of the Sunday Selfies this week - especially as We couldn't agree which one of Us kitties should represent the furmilly (mol).

Mummy took this picture of Lola, but it came out rather dark, so She edited it to make it lighter.

But you still can't see Lola furry clearly, so Mummy thought  We might add this video-clip, in which you can see Lola Bunny nibbling at the contents of the newspaper rack.  As you can see, she is devouring the news (mol)!  Can you see her beautiful, soft, velvety ears?

That's it for now, kitties (and woofies, bunnies, hamsters and all Our Other Anipals). See you next week.  It's time to blog hop.

Furrst of all, here is the badge:

And away We go!

Sunny Fun-Filled Caturday Art

Hallo again, Effurrybuddies!

Here We all are again, at the end of a fairly warm, sunny week. We had lots of sun-puddles to enjoy and We even played nicely together in Our Tunnel - which made Mummy furry happy, so She took this picture:

In fact, seeing Us playing nicely together made Mummy so happy, She decided to turn the picture into Our entry for this week's Caturday Art Blog Hop, hosted by the Beautiful and Wise Athena and her HuMum, Marie.

As She often does, Mummy chose LunaPic and started off with the Stained Glass effect, at 52%. Then, she added the Lomo filter - and Lo and Behold!
Here is the result - with which We are furry pleased:

We think that it is furry purrty and colourful, don't you?

Now, before setting off to join the Blog Hop, We want to wish you, as usual, Shavua Tov (a Good Week).

Next, We shall put up Athena's blog hop badge:

And off We go:

Guest Selfie from Uncle Messi

Hallo there, Effurryone!

In tribute to last week's international "friendly" match between the football teams of Argentina and Uruguay, which took place here in Israel, our entry in this week's Sunday Selfies blog hop, hosted by the Kitties Blue and their HuMum, Janet,  will be a guest selfie from Our Uncle, Messi the Woofie, who, you may recall, was named after Messi the Argentinian football star.

Do you remember how thin and scared Uncle Messi was, when he was furrst gotcha-ed by Grampaw and Step-Grandma?

Well, he isn't scared and he certainly isn't thin anymore!

In fact, Step-Grandma says Messi is overweight.  She has put him on a diet and takes him for long walks effurry day, but he clearly isn't playing enough football (mol).

OUR Mummy says Shimshi is also overweight - but putting him on a diet didn't help, he just goes and eats effurryone else's noms. Caspurr has developed the habit of gobbling down his noms really quickly, to make sure nothing is left by the time Shimshi has finished his own noms and is ready to scoff effurrything else. And I mean effurrything! You see, the trouble is, when Caspurr gobbles his food - especially furrst thing in the morning - it often makes him sick and so he horks it all up again, even before it's been properly digested.  Shimshi seems to think this is like a Mama Birdie who feeds her regurgitated food to her babies - and he eats what Caspurr has horked up.  EEEEW!!!

Mummy is going to have to feed Us all separately.

Now, before We join the blog hop, We just want to wish you all Shavua Tov (a Good Week).

OK, here is the blog hop badge:

And it's time to go:

Trixie the International Star's Caturday Art Post

Hallo, Effurrybody!

Furrst of all, I want to thank all of you who came to My Gotcha Day Pawty on Tuesday. It made me furry happy to know I have so many dear furriends!

Now, as it is Caturday today, We (meaning ME) are taking part in the Caturday Art blog hop hosted by the beautiful and wise Athena and her HuMum, Marie.

Mummy isn't feeling too well this evening, so this is going to be a furry short post. I shall just explain that We made today's artistic masterpiece using the Piccadilly Circus Billboard effect from PhotoFunia and leave it at that.

Piccadilly Circus is a spot right in the heart of London, England - where Mummy grew up. Millions of people pass through there effurry day - and now they will all see My Picture and I shall be Famous even more Famous than I already am (mol).

Before We go, as usual, We want to wish you all Shavua Tov (a Good Week).

Furrst of all, here is the blog hop badge:

And now, off We go!

Caspurr's Sunpuddle Sunday Selfie

Hallo there, Effurryone!

Once again, it is time to join the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop, hosted by the Kitties Blue and their HuMum, Janet.  This week it is My Turn - Me, or rather I, being Caspurr the Courageous, Furrst of My Name, King of the Tigger-Tabbies and Commander-in-Chief of the Impurrial Forces.

Before I show you the pawtrait I have selected, I want to remind you all that this Tuesday, November 12th, is Trixie's 7th Gotcha Day, which - as usual - We will be celebrating with a huge picnic up in the Enchanted Forest, overlooking the Old City of Jerusalem, at 4 pm Israel time, the day after tomorrow. That will enable all Our Guests (and We furry much hope you will be amongst them) to enjoy the beautiful sunset. I should explain that We are enjoying an Indian Summer, with daytime temperatures in the mid-twenties Celsius, and that even at night, it won't be dropping below 15 or 16 degrees C. This is expected to last until the weekend at least.

Having said that, you will understand why Mummy felt the need, while watching TV, to roll down the blinds, thus drastically reducing the size of my sunpuddle!  The afternoon sun was streaming in the big, panoramic living-room window, which faces south-west and getting in her eyes and shining directly on the TV screen. Still, I had enough for my modest needs and at least I didn't have to share it with either of my fursibs, who had taken up pawsitions in the guest room and the boudoir, both of which face south. Their sunpuddles might have been bigger, but I still had the best of the bargain, because I had Mummy right beside Me, ready to dispense chin scritches and tummy rubs whenever I felt the urge to climb into her lap.

That's right, my furriends!  I can be quite a lap dancer when I choose (mol)!
But not in this picture. In this picture, I am enjoying My Sunpuddle, comfortably ensconced on My Magical Flying Carpet.

Oh! That reminds Me - on Tuesday, all three of Us will bring Our Magic Carpets to the Enchanted Forest and We will be offering free rides to all Our Furriends!

So remember - Save the Date!

As usual, before We join the Blog Hop, We want to wish you all Shavua Tov (A Good Week).

And now, at last, it is time to hop.

Furrst of all, here is the badge:

And off We go!

Shimshi's Snoozy Saturday Caturday Art

Hallo, Effurrybuddies!

It's Me again - The Mighty Shimshon (Shimshi for short) a.k.a. The Little Purrince, Captain of the Guard and Master of the Queen's Mischiefs!

Well, Mummy seems to have decided that Winter Is Here. The daytime temperatures are still in the lower twenties Celsius, but it's quite chilly at night now so Mummy has taken out the eiderdown (it doesn't really have any birdie feathers in it) and flannel sheets  (brushed cotton actually, but they call it flannel here), and since the clocks went back, it's dark by about 5:30 p.m. already so it is starting to feel like Winter.

Today is Caturday, so that means We get to take part in the Caturday Art Blog Hop hosted by the Beautiful and Wise Athena and her HuMum, Marie!

Mummy chose a beautiful pawtrait of Me and She played around for ages with all sorts of different effects, from various photo editing sites, before finally coming back to Our Favourite, LunaPic - only she is so scatterbrained, She forgot to note which effect she chose! Isn't She a Silly Mummy?

We are hoping that somebody who uses LunaPic regularly might recognise it, and if you do, please let Us know in the comments.

And now, without further ado - here it is. I mean, here I am:

Before We go, We would like, as usual, to wish you Shavua Tov (a Good Week) and for those of you in the UK - stay indoors and keep safe on Guy Fawkes Night.  Those horrible boomies are best observed at a distance, through double-glazed and soundproofed windows!

Okay! Time to blog hop!
First, the Badge:

Trixie's Spooky Sunday Selfie

Hallo again, Effurrybody!

I (that is to say, Moi - Queen Trixie, Furrst of My Name, Empurress of Jerusalem, Israel and the Entire Middle East,  Guardian of the Boudoir, Alpha Kitty Extraordinaire) have been informed by my Social Petcretary that it is my Duty to My Faithful Subjects and Admirers to sit for a Special Pawtrait in honour of Halloween, which falls this week.

Halloween is not celebrated here in Israel, but as I am a Cosmeowpawlitan Kitty, I feel I would be short-changing My Fans were I not to make some concession to that holiday.

I refuse, however, to wear a costume. My own, beautiful furs should be costume enough, especially as I am A Black Cat and therefore, I am reliably informed, Spooky By Definition!

At this point, I want to say something furry impawtant (well, effurrything I say is impawtant, but what I am about to say now is a Matter of Life and Death)!
We have read that in some countries, black kitties are considered Inherently Evil - and are subjected to Horrible Cruelty, ESPECIALLY at Halloween.
This Practice must be stopped. All Felines, and the Humans who love Us (or even those who don't, but who have any sense of Decency) must work to stamp out the torture of black kitties at Halloween by Evil, Ignorant or just plain STUPID humans. We are not evil. We do not bring Bad Luck. We are not servants of Satan. (As if We would be servants of Anyone!!!)

Now, I was actually hesitating between two selfies.

Here is the furrst one, displaying to purrfection My Eyes and My Tummy.

Touch My Tummy without purrmission and you will feel My Fangs!

Which one do you think is spookier?  I think the second one, don't you?  So that's the one which will be My Official Entry in today's Sunday Selfies Blog Hop, hosted by the Kitties Blue and their Human, Janet.

Just to make it REALLY, REALLY Spooky, I had Mummy add the Scary Halloween Effect from Our favourite photo editing site, LunaPic.

Warning:  Flashing picture coming up!

How's that for Spooky?

Before I go, I want to wish you all a Good Week, as We always do. And We hope you allowed your Humans to enjoy an extra hour of sleep this morning, as the clocks went back last night and they got back the hour that was stolen from Us all in the spring.

And now, let's blog hop.

We start off with the Badge:

And off We go:

Caturday Art for Sukkot

Hallo again, Effurryone!

It is I, Caspurr the Courageous, Furrst of My Name, Commander-in-Chief of the Impurrial Forces, King of the Tigger - Tabbies, bringing  you the latest news from Our Far from Humble Abode (mol).

Sukkot (Tabernacles) is almost upon Us. It starts tomorrow evening with a festive meal in the sukkahOur sukkah is up in the Enchanted Forest, of course, and you are all invited to come and feast with Us there, tomorrow evening, 7.30 P.M. (Israel time).

Mummy's bruvva, Our Uncle Diddy (the one who lives in England and who doesn't really like cats - or so he says), is visiting Us for a few days, so We have had to give up Our Playroom for him to sleep in. We hope he is duly appurreciative of Our Generosity.

Today, We are taking part in the Caturday Art blog hop hosted by the Wise and Beautiful Athena and her HuMum, Marie.

Now, I have to tell you that, unfortunately, I had a reappearance of the mysterious wounds that were troubling Me a couple of months ago and which seemed to have cleared up  - this time, on my chin. And I kept scratching at them, so Mummy is making Me wear that horrible Cone of Shame again:

Mummy said I should think of it as a fashion accessory, like an Elizabethan ruff, but Trixie and Shimshi said it's more like a halo, framing My Handsome Face, and that gave Mummy the idea of using this picture as a base for this week's Caturday Art, which she artified using the Heatmap effect, from Lunapic, at 52%.

It does look more like a kind of shimmering halo, don't you think?

Right, now it's time to join the blog hop - but not before wishing you, as usual, Shavua Tov (a Good Week) and also, to those who celebrate Sukkot, Chag Sameach (a Happy Holiday), and also not before adding the badge:

And off We go:

Sunday Selfie Peekaboo

Hallo again, Effurrybuddies!

We are sorry We haven't been visiting Our Furriends as much as We would like, but what with the High Holy Days and effurrything, Mummy has been terribly busy and, as you know, it is She who has the Secret Purrswords to the Computer Thingie so, as usual, it is All Her Fault, not Ours.

It is neffur Our Fault, of course, because We are Cats. If We had a Woofie, We would blame him/her, but We don't have one - so We blame Mummy instead (mol).

Anyway, We don't want to miss another Sunday Selfies Blog Hop, hosted by the Kitties Blue and their HuMum, Janet,  so when Our Petcretary (a.k.a Mummy) asked who would like to be this week's Sunday Selfies Star, I, The Mighty Shimshon (Shimshi for short) a.k.a. The Little Purrince,  Master of the Queen's Mischiefs and Captain of the Guard, immediately took refuge under the refrigerator volunteered.

Before We set off on the blog hop, however, We want to wish you all a Good Week - as is Our Custom. Furthermore, since this Tuesday evening marks the start of Yom Kippurr (the Day of Atonement), We (including Mummy) would also like to ask your furgiveness if We have offended any of you in any way during the past year, and to wish you and your Humans a Good Final Sealing in the Book of Life.

And now, let's get on with that blog hop!

Caturday Art for Rosh Hashana - Happy Mew Year

Greetings, Effurrybody!

How the time flies! Summer has given way to autumn (not that you would have known it, going by the weather here, which is still bright and sunny and hovering around the upper 20s Celsius). Tomorrow night is already the start of the Jewish - Mewish New Year, Rosh Hashana!

That being the case, our entry in this week's Caturday Art blog hop, hosted by the wise and beautiful Athena and her HuMum, Marie, is, obviously, going to be a Rosh Hashana greeting card, featuring all the impawtant Rosh Hashana elements - the show-fur, and the paw-megranate, the apple and the honey.

Mummy made this card using our latest selfies, which she turned into a collage using HP Photo Creations, adding some clip art and text. Then she went over to LunaPic and got some more clip art (the fruit and the honeybee).

Purrsonally, We think the card would have been even better if She had added a border of catnip and fishies, and We did suggest this to her - but She couldn't find any.  Still, one can't have effurrything and as long as We have purr-lenty of gefilte fish and catnip soup for our festive evening meal (to which you are all invited, tomorrow at 7 pm, Israel time - in the Enchanted Forest, of course),  We don't mind that it's missing on the greeting card.  The impawtant thing is that it is not missing from the menu (mol).  Oh - and if you happen to know of any homeless kitties who have nowhere to go for the High Holy Days, bring them along. They will be most welcome to join Us for Our Festive Meal.

Now, as always, We want to wish you all Shavua Tov (a Good Week), but more than that, We want to wish you and your Humans - whether or not you, or they, are Mewish - a furry Happy and Sweet Mew Year. Shana Tova to you all, Dear Furriends. And let us purray that, in this coming year, all the homeless kitties will find their furever homes and may none of them go hungry or be unwanted or unloved, effur again.

Before We go, let's just add the badge:

And now - let's blog hop!

Caturday Art Kitty Collage

Hallo again, Effurrybuddies!

We are so sorry to have been away for almost two weeks!  At least, We weren't away exactly, but Our Human was.

As you may know, She has a habit of gallivanting off to Foreign Parts at least once a year and leaving Us in the care of her stepsister. Auntie Yuli comes to feed Us when Mummy is away but it's not the same as having Round-the-Clock Room Service. Besides which, only Mummy has the passwords for the Computer Thingy, so We couldn't visit any of our furriends' bloggies.

This year, Mummy did her gallivanting in Greece, where She saw lots and lots of homeless kitties, and also a whole lot of stray woofies. This made her furry sad, as you can well imagine. She will write about her vacation in her own bloggie but She says she may post pictures of the homeless furries She saw, in Our Bloggie.

Anyway, while Mummy was off doing her Gallivanting, We were having a staycation. Shimshi kept Us amewsed inventing all manner of new mischiefs, but We also managed to spend a lot of time enjoying Our Favourite Activity - Snoozing.

Here is a collage of Us, engaged in doing purr-cisely that:

To make the collage, We used HP Photo Creations.

Mummy thought this collage would make a good starting point for Our entry in this week's Caturday Art Blog Hop, hosted by the beautiful and wise Athena and her HuMum, Marie.
Using it as a base, She added the Artists Collage Effect from LunaPic, added a picture frame and came up with this:

We think that is pretty cool, don't you?

Now, all that is left for Us to do, before joining the Blog Hop, is to wish you all Shavua Tov (A Good Week) and to add the badge:

And away We go!

Caturday Art with Shimshi the Poster Pinup

Hallo again, Effurrybuddies!

Once again, it is time to take part in the Caturday Art Blog Hop hosted by Our Dear Furriend, Athena (who is a furry Wise and Beautiful Kitty) and her HuMum, Marie.

Mummy took this picture of Me on her Meowbile Phone, using one of the phone's filters, which is supposed to make me look like a poster or a painting:

But She wasn't satisfied, so She used LunaPic to add a bit more colour with the Floating Art Effect and this was the Result:

Honestly, I don't know, kitties! The Things I do for the sake of Art!

What do you think?

Now, before I go, I just want to wish you all Shavua Tov from all of Us. It's the last week of August - so Make Hay while the Sun shines (mol)!

And now, let's hop. Furrst, here is the badge:

And off We go!

Queen Trixie Celebrates Black Cat Appreciation Day (and Her Birthday) with Caturday Art

Hallo, Loyal Furriends (and Subjects)!

It is I - Queen Trixie, Empurress of Jerusalem, Israel and the Entire Middle East, Guardian of the Boudoir, Alpha Kitty Extraordinaire.

You remember what today, August 17th is, don't you? Of course you do.

It is Black Cat Appreciation Day.
And I am A BLACK CAT!

And, as Caspurr told you last week, We are combining My Birthday Celebrations with the Black Cat Appreciation Day festivities. Monday (August 12th) was my 7th Birthday.
That is a furry special annifurrsary for a Black Cat.

Seven is a furry lucky number.
And Black Cats bring Good Luck!
So a Black Cat celebrating her Seventh Birthday is a furry strong Good Luck Charm!
And when you combine that with Black Cat Appreciation Day - well, the Good Luck is multiplied - sevenfold (mol).

So, We are going to be celebrating all night long up in the Enchanted Forest, under the (almost) full moon. Drop in and celebrate with Us. We are going to scoff all manner of flavours of Fancy Feast, tuna pie, salmon mousse, caviar and micecream and get high on niptinis and dance till dawn.

We are also going to be taking part in the Caturday Art Blog Hop hosted by the wise and beautiful Athena and her HuMum, Marie.  For this, We had a little help from PhotoFunia...

In honour of my birthday - and Black Cat Appreciation Day - I was interviewed by Vogue Magazine. They were furry interested in my beauty and fashion tips (what can I say, ladycats? When you've got it - you've got it!)

And, best of all, the National Gallery in London, England, commissioned My portrait from Monsieur Miaownet - so, if you happen to live there, or are visiting, I suggest you go to see it.

Ah, fame!

Now, dear furriends, don't furrget to join the pawty tonight. We are so looking forward to seeing you.

Before joining the blog hop, We want to wish you Shavua Tov (a Good Week), as is our custom.

And off We go:

Caspurr's Caturday Art

Hallo there, Effurryone!

It is Me, Caspurr, King of the Tigger-Tabbies. It should really be Trixie, because it's her birthday the day after tomorrow, but since she gets to celebrate next Saturday as well, August 17th being Black Cat Appreciation Day, she has graciously consented to allow Me to represent the J-Cats in this week's Caturday Art Blog Hop, hosted by the beautiful and wise cat goddess, Athena and her HuMum, Marie.

So, I thought I would share with you a couple of pictures of Me and My New Magical Flying Carpet (as you may recall, Shimshi told you how We have one each).

On Wednesday, I took the beauteous BellaDharma, my Panfur Purrincess, out for a spin, and We flew over some furry interesting places, mountains and lakes, forests and seas.  I had a wonderful time, and I hope the lovely BellaD did, also.  She gave Me a few Anxious Moments though, because she was so excited, she kept standing up - and I was really afraid she might fall off! Fortunately, however, she has a great sense of balance!

We have two pictures to share; one is mostly blue, inspired by the lakes and seas We saw, and the other is greener, repurresenting the forests and jungles.

Mummy used LunaPic for both of them, but She can't remember exactly which effects she used. She thinks one might have been Splash and the other Jungle, but She's not 100% certain.

Anyway, We like them both. Which do YOU prefurr?

We actually have a furry busy week coming up. Tomorrow is the fast of Tisha B'Av. The day after, Monday, is Trixie's birthday, as I already told you. Friday is Tu B'Av, which is the the Mewish-Jewish Valentine's Day.  And next Caturday is Black Cat Appreciation Day - which is when We are going to have Trixie's Official Birthday Pawty.

I am telling you all this now, to give you advance warning for the Pawty, which will take place in Our Favourite Venue, the Enchanted Forest, at dusk (about 8 pm). We hope to see you all there.

Now, We would like to wish you all Shavua Tov (a Good Week) before joining the Blog Hop.

First, here is the Badge:

And off We go!

Uncle Messi's Sunday Guest Selfie

Greetings, Effurrybody!

Shavua Tov  (a Good Week) to you all!

We couldn't agree on which of Us would star in today's Sunday Selfie Blog Hop, hosted by Our Furriends the Kitties Blue and their Human, Janet, over at The Cat on My Head blog, so We decided to invite Our Woofie Uncle, Messi, to post a Guest Selfie instead.  And since he doesn't get to share photos of his handsome self online too often (as his Humans, Grandpaw and Step-Grandma, don't have a blog and neither does Messi), We helped him make a really impurressive selfie and added a fancy picture furrame, just for Good Measure.

For those of you who haven't heard of Messi before, We should explain that his Pawrents are Mummy's Daddy and Step-Mum, which makes him Our Uncle.

This picture was taken on a Furry Hot Day last week. Although Grandpaw and Step-Grandma have Airconditioning in their home, Messi prefers to keep cool by lying on the floor-tiles in the hall, which is the shadiest part of the house.

Grandpaw and Step-Grandma have a big garden too, so Messi is a furry lucky woofie. And a furry handsome one too, don't you agree?

Okay, now it's time to start hopping. First the badge:

And away We go:
