As you can see, I was enjoying one of my Favourite Snuggle Spots, under the duvet.
This evening, Mewish cats and their Humans will be lighting the furrst Hanukkah candle on the Menorah. Hanukkah is one of Our Favourite festivals, because We can look forward to treats EFFURRY DAY, for EIGHT WHOLE DAYS!
But Hanukkah does have some sad meowmories for Mummy also, because it was eleven years ago at Hanukkah that Angel Pixie flew away to the Rainbow Bridge. That was on December 23rd - and it was a Friday, just as it is this year too.
To honour Precious Pixie, here is a picture of her, taken on April 3rd 2011 - before she got so sick with kidney disease.
Like Me, she was a beautiful Tigger-Tabby (although, in character, she was more like Trixie):

Purrs to you on Angel Pixies passing even though it was eleven years ago. It probably feels just like yesterday. We always miss our fur babies so much when they are gone. Her artsy pawtrait is beautiful, it makes her stunning eyes pop and it's like she looking right at you. Happy first day of Hanukkah! We will try to join the hop but we are furry late today.

Castpur, what a gentleman you are to let Angel Pixie be the art this week! She is a most lovely tabby. We love yours in your favorite cuddle spot. Tell your Mommy that mine doesn't understand how to "serve" the sticks either. Someone gave Admiral some silvervine sticks...Admiral just ignored them. MOm didn;t know what else to do.

Caspurr looks, as they say, as snug as a bug in a rug, which just means that his Snuggle Bug term of endearment is right on. Very handsome he is, too. Both of your art pieces are magnificent, and it is so touching that you chose to honour Angel Pixie at this purrticular time, as well. Another gorgeous kitty! They both have such beautiful faces.
