I would like to wish you all Shavua Tov (a Good Week) - and I do wish it. However, there is no denying that these are hard times for us all, kitties and humans alike. This horrible Coronavirus is spreading all around the world, making lots of humans sick and many have even been called to their own Rainbow Bridge. As of tonight, there are 945 COVID-19 patients in Israel and although only one has died so far, that can't be expected to continue - besides which, the recovery rate in Israel seems to be lower than most of the rest of the world.
We hope and purray that YOUR humans are safe and well. We must look after them and make sure that, as well as staying healthy, they also stay cheerful. Of course, that doesn't always work. MY Mummy, for example, has been getting furry depressed these last few days. I have even noticed her eyes leaking quite a lot. Caspurr and Shimshi try to distract her by being furry, furry naughty, so She won't have time to think about anything else, but I am afraid that only makes her more upset. She says that She has enough to worry about these days, without their shenanigans. She, herself, is not sick but the government has issued emergency regulations and no-one is allowed to go out, except to buy essential items such as food and medicine, or to receive medical treatment, or to work in essential occupations, or a few other things (such as taking part in demonstrations, of all things!!! And also to take one's woofies for a walk). But even before the "recommendations" became "regulations", She was scared to go out for fear of catching this Dreadful Bug and now, She is afraid She will be spending the Seder night all on her own, because although She has plenty of family in Jerusalem, nobody is supposed to be going out of their own home, to reduce the risk of infection.
So I, Queen Trixie, have decided to dedicate our entry in the Caturday Art blog hop, hosted by the Wise and Beautiful Athena and her HuMum, Marie, to "feeling blue".
And here is the blog hop badge:
Below, you can see the original photo, with which We are taking part in the Sunday Selfies blog hope, hosted by the Kitties Blue (no pun intended) and their HuMom, Janet:
As you can see, I am looking wistful and pensive in this pawtrait, in solidarity with Mummy.
Mummy misses her caterwauling club and her archaeological field trips and her Bible and Mewsic lectures, and now She just heard on the news that there may very likely soon be a total curfew, like in Italy.
It is so miserable, you might be pardoned for fur-getting that yesterday was officially the furrst day of Spring!
Now, We must help Mummy have another go at making one more attempt at placing her online Pessach (Passover) order with the supermarket. She spent HOURS trying to do that this afternoon and then, just when she got to the checkout point, something went wrong and now, She doesn't know whether her order went through or not!!! Tomorrow, We hope to have more time to visit all Our Furriends.
Keep well, stay safe and look after your Humans. We love you all.

These are very depressing and worrying times.
Those of us with health problems and the over 70s are being told to self isolate for 12 weeks from tomorrow. We have been doing that since last Monday though apart from a blood test I had to go for on Wednesday.
Stay safe!
we are not chewish, we are catlick, but chag sameach to yoo and meow and purr.
It is so sad what is happening and we hope it clears soon. Purrs for those who are ill from this or other.
It's very frightening, this terrible virus. In Canada we now have over 1400 cases and at least 12 deaths (plus one man on a cruise ship in Japan). I think that's increased now, with 4 more deaths in the province of Quebec.
Please tell your mum not to be tempted to gather with her family in person, to do it virtually via Face Time or Skype or whatever, if possible.
You all stay well and be safe. We're sending Universal Light and purrs.

You are so pretty today! Stay strong and healthy at your house.
It's such a scary time for everyone and all we can do is take care of each other. Beautiful selfie!
We love your photos! It's scary over here too, y'all stay safe, healthy and virus-free.
Beautiful selfie. Shavua Tov! Stay healthy. XO
Its lovely to see your selfies. Take care and have a good Sunday!
Love your last two selfies! Shavua Tav to you too. Trying to stock up here on Pescach foods before turning to online orders. Keep well. Purrs
My momma are getting very depressed too. Sending purrs. Stay healthy.
Apparently we are sitting in the same boat, although we live in Belgium. No way to go out only for food and medecine supply, no visits either. I feel as if I was acting in a movie ! And Rosie is not a great entertainer she sleeps all the time ! I should do the same.
We loved both your selfies, but please don't be blue. Positive thoughts and a little caution will win the day.
Stay well purrs and best wishes

We here have just been informed we are now also on a stay at home order form the gov...which for petcretary means her car may malfunction and then she won't be able to get other work as a health care worker...cause even the mechanics shops are to be closed...not to mention that she will look even shaggier than the shaggiest pup cause so will the hair salons be shuttered. Booo....she'll be in piggy tails by the time this is all done, MOL!!!

We're so worried about the world. We're in NYC and it's very crazy and scary here. We hope you're well.
When the world is dark and scary, it's time to take a nap in a sun puddle. Be safe, and stay well to all at your home.
And shove a toy to you too. Enjoy...
All of dad's counterparts at Technion are working from home now, too. It certainly is a scray and strange time. Stay safe and stay well, sweet friends.
These are trying times, but we'll get through it. You created a lovely blue portrait so maybe that's a silver lining. Your mom has more time to practice her art with you kitties as her muses. My Mom & Dad have been working from home for the past 2 weeks. They go out every few days for essentials, but they can also go for a walk (away from people), or be in our yard.
Reach out if you're feeling too blue or cooped up. I'm seeing more and more online resources to help people get through this weird time.
