Daylight Robbery

Greetings, Effurrybody!

You'd never believe what has happened, anipals!

We went to sleep last night as usual (way after midnight, because we waited for Mummy to come home from the caterwauling concert opera), expecting to sleep till about seven o'clock in the morning and then wake Mummy up by sitting on her tummy with a gentle headbutt, in time for her to let her Cleaning Lady in.  But instead, Mummy woke Us up an hour early (by Our Reckoning) and told Us that all the clocks have been put forward for Daylight Saving Time.

Do you know what that means, kitties? 

It means they have stolen an hour of Our Lives!!!

What gives them the right to do that???

You know what We think, Kitties (and Other Anipals)? We think that Spring makes people (and some animals, but not Kitties) go a little crazy.

How else can you explain the fact that this birdie, who dared to make her nest on Our Windowsill, laid a single Egg in one of Mummy's flowerpots, but then chose to sit on a small pebble that was lying in the earth there, instead of on the Egg?!

Huh! Talk about Birdbrained!

Well, We now feel the Urgent Need to make up for our lost stolen sleep, so We are going to go and lie down, somewhere where We won't be disturbed, and let Mummy get on with preparing the Shabbat evening meal. (Pssst! She has promised pink trout...Yummy!)
