Well, here We are in 2026! My, how Time flies!
As Trixie signed off on 2025, it falls to Me - Sir Caspurr the Courageous, the Caspicatious, Furrst of My Name,the Snuggle Bug, Commander-in-Chief of the Impurrial Forces, King of the Tigger-Tabbies - to lead My Fellow J-Cats on Our Furrst Post of 2026. As usual, We will be pawticipating in the weekend blog hops - the Caturday Art blog hop, hosted by the Wise and Beautiful Athena and her HuMum, Marie, and the Sunday Selfies blog hop, hosted by the Delightfully and Predictably Unpredictable Kitties Blue and their HuMom, Janet.
So, for starters, here is My Selfie - tastefully framed by Mummy with the help of LunaPic. The frame is adorned with features from My Royal Coat of Arms - a Tigger head, a little Tigger Cub - and a Crown.
Here, you can see Me all curled up under the duvet on the Bed in My Cocoon. We had the heating on, but I was still cold - and so was Mummy, to be honest!

Apart from the frames, all of them by LunaPic, this week's art is from BeFunky.
This furrst one uses Cartoonizer GFX, at full strength:
Our second artification was created with Watercolour3, set to approximately 75%:
And finally, We were quite adventurous with Mosaic1, slightly toned down by setting it at about 55%:

For those of you who might have missed it, the day after Our Previous Post went live, Mummy published Part 4 of her adventures in Greece last summer, on her own blog. Later this week, She might post Part 5 - but then again, She might write instead about her concert last month with Her Caterwauling Friends, or maybe about the books She has been reading. Would you believe it, despite having about 60 books waiting to be read, She went and bought a couple more on the very last day of 2025? Of course, they were about Cats and Books, so it's purrfectly understandable really...
There has been an Awful Lot of Stuff happening in the World this past week, but We think We'll leave that, too, for Mummy to write about on Her Own Bloggie (if She so chooses) and We'll just stick to Feline Matters.

I have to say there isn't an image of your wondrous self there is isn't perfect, even though each is slightly different. A masterfully taken original, too!

Sir Caspurr we are so excited to see you all curled up in your warm spot for the new year. Precious spends her time under the bed or inside of her bed tent. We've got snow on the ground and the furnace is running. We are always glad to see when your Mum puts out a post about singing or her trips. We enjoy that just as much as we enjoy reading our books. Caspurr, all of the art this week is stunning, but we favor the last one because of its colors. You look absolutely snuggly. We had to enlarge to see your tiny blep. Fun that both you and Tali had that in common this week. As to her name, she was named after Tony and Ziva's daughter from NCIS (do you get that there?), which is why she has a Jewish name. Dad Tom is a non-practicing Jew, and our mom is what is referred to as a lapsed Catholic. Wishing you all a wonderful week. Stay warm. Yes, We should have realised that immediately, from the fact that the other one is called Gibbs. The penny dropped, actually, just minutes before reading your reply above. We do get NCIS here and, in fact, I was a devoted fan for a long time, but I gave up after Season 21 (I think it was 21), when Jethro Gibbs left and there was no-one left of the old favourites.

All three treatments look good to us. There is too much anger and greed in certain parts of the world and it needs to be taken in hand. Not much hope of that guys!
I really like the second art the best, its so soft looking. You do look cozy in that cocoon!
