Greetings, Effurrybody!
We were Mummy was in a bit of a hurry yesterday, which is why We are posting a day late. What is more, this is going to be a furry short post, in which I, Queen Trixie, Furrst of My Name, etc. etc. etc. will be leading My Fellow J-Cats on this weekend's blog hops - the Caturday Art blog hop, hosted by the Wise and Beautiful Athena and her HuMum, Marie, and the Sunday Selfies blog hop, hosted by the Delightful and Predictably Unpredictable Kitties Blue and their HuMom, Janet.
So - here is My Selfie.
As you can see from the photo, I was intent on my prey, which was poised above Me on the ceiling. You can't see it, but it was a lizard - a Common House Gecko, Mummy thinks. She says they are supposed to bring good luck to the houses where they live. I don't know about that. I only know it was in My Territory and that it was My Right and Privilege to hunt it! But it was on the ceiling, so I couldn't get to it - and when Mummy turned off the lights and went to bed, it used the oppurrtunity to make good its Escape, and so I was deprived of my Sport!
Furrst of all, We tried the Crayon GFX effect at 80%:
Next, We used the Graphic Novel filter, at 60%:
Our third artification used the Impressionist2 effect at 50%:
And finally, Vector Painting:
We couldn't decide which of all these We liked best, so We are letting YOU decide, and, to make it easier for you, We are hanging ALL of them, plus the Original Pawtrait, side by side in the Kitty Kat Gallery of Contemporary Art (KKGOCA):
And now, before We fur-get, here are the blog hop badges:

Next week, We hope to be back at Our Usual Time. Till then, be well. Be safe. We love you all.

Queen Trixie it is very good to see you this morning. We were a bit worried when we didn't see you yesterday because we know how things can be so bad where you live. Hope you're getting a relief in the weather. And what a shame if you didn't get a chance to chase that little lizard. Your photos for the selfies in the artwork are beautiful as always. Have a wonderful week.
Trixie, too bad the lizard didn't stay around to "make friends," so to speak. 😉
I really can't decide which art I prefer, though the last one has a VERY slight edge! 😻
Take care and I hope the week goes well.
I was looking for you too, Trixie. I am very glad to see you today!
I have to catch the spiders for Mum as she's terrified of them.
Love all the art, especially the last one!
The art is very beautiful! Can I ask you how you do it ?
They are all so lovely, but I liked the last one the best.
Your artwork is beautiful as effurr, Trixie, just like yourself. We wish we could help you with the lizard. we don't have them here, only stoopid salamanders, not in our garden though...MOL...We like the second one the best. Double Pawkisses for a Happy and Peaceful Week ahead to all of you🐾😽💞
Hi, Marit. I use the Photo Editing sites BeFunky, or LunaPic. It's very easy. You just click on the filter you want and then you can play about with a slider to change the percentage. LunaPic is the easier of the two to use, in my opinion.
