Greetings once more, Effurrybody!
It is I, the One and Only Queen Trixie, Furrst of My Name, Empurress of Jerusalem, Israel and the Entire Middle East, Queen of Hearts, the Panfur Princess, Guardian of the Boudoir, Alpha Kitty Extraordinaire!
How have you all been keeping? We have been hearing horror stories about the miserable weather in Europe and North America. All We can say is - Wintertime is Snuggle Time! Why would anyone choose to go out, rather than snuggle up at home with a warm, soft kitty or woofie?! We find such behaviour completely indefensible reprehensible incompurrehensible!
And We have to admit, even Mummy sinned against Us this way when She left Us for several hours on Wednesday evening to go to the O-purr-a in Tel Aviv with her sister, Auntie N.
Now, this week, it is My Turn to lead the J-Cats on the weekend blog hops - the Caturday Art blog hop, hosted by the Divinely Wise and Beautiful Athena and her HuMum, Marie, and the Sunday Snoozies Selfies blog hop, hosted by Our Dear Furriends, the Kitties Blue and their HuMom, Janet.
We chose a picture of Me snoozing in front of the heater - because, although Mr. Sunshine has been with Us all week, it can still get furry cold on that side of the apawtment, especially at night and in the early morning, because Our Building is on a slope and the bedrooms overlook a rather windy valley.
As We usually do, We got Our artsy-fartsy effects from LunaPic. Furrst of all, We used one of Mummy's Our Favourite filters - Frida. Only this time, Mummy increased the colour saturation to Maximum - twice!
Next, We tried another Favourite - Tuscany. Mummy increased the colour saturation to maximum (once only, this time) and this is the result:
Finally, Mummy tried a filter She doesn't recall using before - Acid at 80%, and then played around with the colour saturation tool. This is what She got:
Which one do you like best? Let Us know in the comments.
And before We forget, here are the blog hop badges:
We tried to make a puzzle for you, but for some reason, We were unable to embed it in this post!!! Mummy will attempt to figure this out before next week's post, but now, She has to go and have her Siesta before going to her Caterwauling Club.
That's all for now. See you again next week.
Be well. Be safe. We love you all.

We won have to call your picture "Lying Down on the Job" Regardless of the colorful spin your human tried to put on it. We see through those artifices (and they WERE attractive) to the REAL CAT.
In our opinion, cats should "lie down on the job" as often as possible, so go for it!
Queen Trixie, furst I luv the 3rd picture 'cause it's in blues. Lynn and I purr-fer blue ev-furry thing. But I saw 2 of you in the furst live photo, mol. Got a nice mirror effect goin' on. Hope your mummy was warmly wrapped when she went out to the O-purr-a. Here Lynn dresses like an Eskimo walking down and up our steep hill. But no snow here fur weeks until today, it starts up now fur only 3 or 4 inches. Precious
Hi Trixie! We agree that this is the purrfect time for snuggling and cozying up inside -- especially with our furry housemates. You are so wise; we bet it's super warm there in front of the heater!
we like all the artworks, but the third is our favorite.
XO
Frida almost looks like you're in InfraRed, Queen Trixie. Tuscany is definitely the one for us, though acid does have a very etched and wintery feel to it, which is quite nice.
As for having that heater to lounge in front of, why, that sounds the height of luxury!
Hopefully the opera went well for the staff, and now they are regaling you with tuneful extracts 🙂

Well, am afraid we cannot choose one ... but saturating the color on each was a great idea, to make them all "warmer" and ward off the cold (on that side of the building!!)
Lovely images of a lovely kitty, have a happy week to come.
Hugs, JUNE and Ann
we like da lass too
Queen Trixie...I like that last one best! And you are looking regal today...we two share that awesome look.
Queen Trixie! You shall have to add "Goddess with the captivating gaze and mysterious smile" to your titles. All 3 of your paintings are magnificent, but I do believe I preferred the Acid one the bestest! I awoke to MORE SNOW this morning, but it is twinkling in the sunlight! We have not seem much sun this winter so I am happy (except for the cold wet toes when I go outside). Keep being awesome! Purrs Marv
Your artwork turned out very nice, your Excellence, we especially like the Tuscany filter and the beautiful you, Trixie😻Double Pawkisses for a Happy Week ahead to all of you🐾😽💞
We really like the Tuscany effect.
You are pretty in any art, or in the real-fur, Trixie!
Stay warm and cozy.
Cosying up in front of a heat source is the purrfect way to spend any chilly day, Trixie!
I especially like the last effect for its colours; teal and turquoise and other blue tones are among the biped's favourite colours to wear.
Purrs for a good week ahead.

Frida looks sunny, Tuscany looks hot, but Acid looks cold!
Sweet Trixie, that is a wonderfully cozy selfie and your art if most beautiful!
Snuggle Time is the best time of the year!!! Love the photo and art :)
We like the Tuscany one the best!
You are gorgeous. I love all your art, especially the Tuscany one. XO
Your selfie made for beautiful art, Trixie. I like the first one best. It makes me feel warm for some reason. ~Ernie

Dear Queen Trixie, I love your LunaPic Frida Artsy-Fartsy. I live in FloryDa USA but its cold here even though the sun is shining. The sun is a big ol fat liar, I tell yoo. I've been snoozing in a fake sunpuddle since December. So not fair. Hope yoo have a good day. Love, Dori
Hurray fer Mr Heater! And we loved all the fancy effects...
TBT finally noticed the other day that we were curling up on the floor vents recently. Since we cover them up, he wasn't realing why we were where we were.
He says "How is that possibly better than a pile of socks on as heated waterbed?"
That Frida filter is a WOW-ser isn't it. Deep and totally spectacular.
