The Floofiness of Trixie: Caturday Art and Sunday Selfie

Hallo again, Effurrybody!

It's Me once more - MOI, Queen Trixie, Furrst of My Name, Empurress of Jerusalem, Israel and the Entire Middle East, Queen of Hearts, Guardian of the Boudoir, Alpha Kitty Extraordinaire.

What wonderful news We all had this week! Sawyer, from the Cat on My Head blog, is finally HOME AGAIN, after being AWOL for 24 days and twelve hours!  We are so furry happy for him and for his Family, both feline and human. And We are delighted to take part in the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop, hosted by him and his fursibs, the Kitties Blue and their HuMom, Janet.

Here is My Selfie:

And here is the Sunday Selfies blog hop badge:

We are also pawticipating in the Caturday Art blog hop, hosted by the Wise and Beautiful Athena and her HuMum, Marie. Here is their badge:

We used the same picture, and then We artified it, using Lunapic's Beauty effect at 50% and added one of their simple, but elegant frames.

But then Mummy started wondering if that frame, elegant as it is, was not sufficiently majestic for a Feline of My Stature, so She hauled me off to PhotoFunia to pick out a fancy-shmancy frame.

To be quite honest, I kind of feel that frame is a bit overwhelming, and detracts from My Natural Beauty.

Let Us know in the Comments what you think.

Another great piece of news is that the Cat-O-Lympics have finally started. Are any of you kitties taking part? In which events?

Mummy also found time last week to write her own blog. If you enjoy her caterwauling, do pop over and visit.

Meanwhile, before I set off to visit my fellow bloggers, I want to remind effurrybody, Furries and Naked Bipeds alike, that the Evil Coronavirus has not yet been defeated. In some places, things are better than in others and the Precautions to be taken differ from country to country, but wherever you are, the Rules are there for Your Purrtection, so make sure you and your Humans observe them.

So carry on Social Distancing wherever necessary, wear facemasks (especially in crowded venues) and, most impawtant of all - ALWAYS - keep washing those paws!

Be safe. Be well. We love you all.

You look lovely as always. We purrferred the picture without the gold frame. It did seem to overwhelm the picture a bit but nothing could dim your natural beauty.

That's a stunning selfie. We like the simple frame better! We're also celebrating Sawyer's safe return.

Trixie, your selfie and artwork are beautiful! We like the lesser frame, too. Our friends in Haifa said that the COVID numbers there are bad right now. We are purring that they start getting better soon. XO

What a beauty you are Trixie! I like those selfies and the elaborate frame fits your classic beauty to a tee.

We love your gorgeous selfie and both versions of your artwork. Both frames have merit!

Take care and have a lovely week. Purrs from Derry.

Simply stunning selfie and art!

I prefer the simple frame to let the lovely art that is you speak for itself. Is there a Cat Olympics this year? I competed a few times in my younger days.

We were thrilled about Sawyer too. Being found after weeks is a rare event. And at a familiar location shows how we find places.

Great selfie!

TBT is double shotted with Moderna back in April, but still wears a mask.

We are sure he wears it just for our protection. A snow leopard caught it last week, after all.

He has a nice mask. It's a kitty face. Is THAT respectful of us or what?

I loved seeing that art, however, that elaborate frame seems very heavy...I do prefer the simpler one, as did so many others.

BTW, I like your Paris Pillows! LOL!

And I visited your concert venue:) Great singing! Despite the complications of the virus mess.

Queen Trixie, you are a floofalicious beauty.
I think I might agree that while your artwork is creative and lovely, I might prefer the original. In the original, you are the center of attention and everything else fades away.
