April and its sunny showers have been and gone, bringing the flowers that bloom in May. Unfortunately, Mummy can't go furry far to see them, because of lockdown restrictions which prevent her from going more than 500 metres from home - but the geraniums in her window boxes are doing furry nicely, and so is a late-blooming Sick Lemon on the front porch.
And who knew spider-plants could flower?
And when Mummy does go out - if only to take down the garbage - of course she can also see how Spring has come to effurryone else's balconies and window boxes and gardens.
We are stay-at-home Kitties, so all of this doesn't really make much difference to Us. The birdies continue to torment Us by flying right up to the window and laughing at Us. It is especially annoying when they perch on the bars right above the frosted windows of the Utility Room, and We can hear them chirping away but can't see them. We know they are there and it drives Us crazy!
And, of course, the Lockdown hasn't prevented Us from visiting Our Furriends throughout the Blogosphere and, most impawtantly, from taking part in the Blog Hops - the Caturday Art blog hop hosted by the Wise and Beautiful Athena and her HuMum, Marie - whose badge you see here:
and the Sunday Selfies blog hop hosted by Our Furriends, the Kitties Blue and their HuMom, Janet. Here is their badge:
As I said, We are stay-at-home Kitties, content to get Our Exercise by jumping up onto the highest cupboards in the kitchen, or racing around under Mummy's feet, or doing zoomies up and down the stairs. And when it's time to relax, either We snooze in the plentiful sunpuddles afforded Us by the south-facing windows, or We watch TeeVee - although, sometimes, it's a bit of a contest who rules the Remote Control. As you can see from this picture below (which is Our Entry in the Sunday Selfies blog hop), it is usually ME, the Mighty Shimshi:
I rather like the effect, don't you?
Now, before We set off on Our blog hop, let Me wish you all Shavua Tov (a Good Week) - and remind you all to keep your Humans under Snoopervision and make sure they continue to observe whatever restrictions are still in place in your neck-of-the-woods. Those restrictions are for effurryone's health and safety, so We can defeat that Evil Corona-virus once and for all.
Stay home, stay safe and Be Well.

I did not know spider plants flower, that is beautiful! You kitties are sure cute today, have a great week all.
We're glad your mum is following the restrictions that are in place there, but we know it is very difficult. It sounds like you cats are having your normal fun times inside, Shimshi! :)
The flowers are very pretty and we really like your selfie too!
Mom wants to get some plants but is staying away from stores. Nice sefie and cool artwork.
The Florida Furkids
Nice flowers and yes, that's a great effect!
This challenge will too pass. Keep safe friends and love your picture
Shimshi, you're right...this staying at home stuff doesn't really affect us kitties much...except that our humans are here all the time! We love seeing the pretty flowers.
We are having so much fun being home. Mum and dad come out in the garden a lot more and its still sunny. Bird TV is at its best right now!
Have a good week.
We are loving this lockdown as mum is home with us!!
Our gardens are just beginning t show signs of life and we should see more blooms soon :)
We think your blooms are so pretty!
Purrs,Georgia and Julie
Thank Cod for the ability to visit all our online friends through this!
Shimshi, you are adorable. None of my spider plants have ever blossomed. I am glad our schools are closed for the rest of the school year. We are not safe until there is a cure or a vaccine. Stay healthy. XO
Our Oma had spider plants which bloomed at times!
Hope you will have a great weekm too!
And yes for sure we would go absolutely cuckoo if we didn't have the technological abilities to 'visit' with our friends and family.
You are naughty, you almost had me fooled. The flowers are pretty and I was going to say that the Sick Lemon looks like our cyclamen. It was only when I said it in my head that the penny dropped!
The artsy picture is lovely.
Stay safe!
We almost have the same restrictions, I am not allowed yet to go out, but my little cat goes out whenever she wants and wherever she wants but never asks me if she could bring me something back except a dead mouse !

Those flowers sure are pretty. Peepers used to grow some cyclamen but hasn't in a really long time. FYI, cyclamen grow in a size of pot PURRfect for cats to knock down. MOUSES!
That's a beautiful flower of the spider plant, Shimshi and your Selfie and artwork is really very beautiful too😸Clean Pawkisses for a Happy Week ahead. Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie🙏🐾😽💞
You know, I'm a stay-at-home cat, too, and that's okay. Restrictions are about to be lifted around here too, and mom and dad aren't too sure about that idea. Very pretty flowers, by the way. Nice artwork, too!
I can't imagine you as a fried kitty. Better stay close!
