Caspurr's Blissful Caturday Artsy Selfie

Hallo there, Effurryone and Shavua Tov (a Good Week) to you all!

We started the week with Tu b'Shvat (which was furry, furry cold and pouring with rain) and ended with Valentine's Day, which was sunny and considerably warmer. Now it is getting cold again and they say We are in for more Skywater, so I expect We shall be spending lots of time in Mummy's Pampering Parlour, enjoying lots of head scritches and chin scritches and snorgles - and, most impawtant of all, SNUGGLING, as I am doing in this picture below:

Mummy thought the look of Bliss on My Face was so adorable that she decided to artify it, using the Paper Artist app on her phone, and Voila!

I'm not sure I care for the artified version, actually. It makes My Whiskers look funny!

What do YOU think?

Anyway, this is going to be Our Entry in this week's Caturday Art blog hop, hosted by the Wise and Beautiful  Athena and her HuMum, Marie.

Here is their Badge:

And off We go - but before We do, We would like to thank all of you who sent condolences on the passing away of Mummy's auntie, who is now at The Bridge with all the kitties and woofies she took care of during her 90 human years here on earth.

And now - off We REALLY go!

Trixie's Queen of Hearts Sunday Selfie for Valentine's Day

Greetings, Effurrybody!

Today, I, Queen Trixie, Furrst of My Name, Empurress of Jerusalem, Israel and the Entire Middle East, Guardian of the Boudoir, Alpha Kitty Extraordinaire, have received yet another title, in honour of St. Valentine's Day - Queen of Hearts.

In deference to my new title, I have been unanimously elected by Mummy and my fursibs, to represent the entire Furrmily in both the Caturday Art blog hop, hosted by the Beautiful and Wise Athena and her HuMum, Marie, and the Sunday Selfies blog hop, hosted by the Kitties Blue and their HuMom, Janet.

Before I post the pictures, I must tell you that We had some furry sad news on Wednesday. Mummy's auntie, the one who lives in Ashkelon and who had to take cover effurry time the Bad Humans in the Gaza Strip would shoot rocket boomies into Israel, passed away last week at the age of 90 Human Years. As you may recall, for years, Great-Auntie Dorle used to feed dozens of homeless kitties in her garden. She will be greatly missed. But We take comfort in the thought that there will be many kitties waiting to greet her on The Other Side - and woofies too, because when she was younger and in better health, she used to have doggies living with her.

Now, it is time to post my pictures.  You may notice I have company sharing my sunpuddle - Mr. Edward Bear and Snowy, the Seal. I like to snuggle up with them when it gets cold (and believe Me, despite the sunpuddle, it was COLD). Of course, I prefurr snuggling with Mummy, but She is not always available for snuggling, alas.

This is the original picture, intended for the Sunday Selfies blog hop:

And here is my Valentine's Day art, for the beauteous Athena's Caturday Art blog hop:

Mummy used  PhotoFunia to create this last picture.

Finally, before We set forth on the two Blog Hops, We would like, as usual, to wish you all Shavua Tov (a Good Week).

Caturday Art WIth The Mighty Shimshon (a.k.a. Shimshi)

Hallo again, Effurrybuddies!

Shavua Tov (a Good Week) to you all!

It has been furry cold all week so I, the Mighty Shimshon (a.k.a. Shimshi a.k.a. The Little Purrince), Master of the Queen's Mischiefs and Captain of the Guard, have been spending as much time as possible snuggled up (purrefurrably with Mummy), under a blanket on the sofa, or under the duvet on the bed, or on top of one of the radiators (no, Mummy doesn't sit on the radiators - MOL).

Here you can see Me prepurring to do just that:

Mummy has not been able to see much TV this week because her Digital Converter has gone on strike. Well, it might be more accurate to say it is Clinically Dead. She called the cable TV company last Sunday, when it was still in Critical Condition and in need of Intensive Care and they were supposed to call her back within an hour but She is still waiting! So She had more time free for reading. And, that being the case, I thought She should be reading about .......CATS! What else?!

All of which gave Us an idea for this week's entry in the Caturday Art Blog Hop hosted by the Wise and Beautiful Athena and her HuMum, Marie:

The pawtrait on the book cover is, naturally, of Myself (because it was MY Idea). Mummy used the Classic Book effect from PhotoFunia - another one of Her Favourites because it is one of the few "free" photo editing sites which really are free.

Several of you have asked after Mummy's Sister, who had an opurration on her hip. She is convalescing nicely, thank you - and She, too, has plenty of time for reading now, so when She visits  tomorrow, Mummy is going to take her a book - not about kitties, but about a woofie. It is called "The Jewish Dog" by Asher Kravitz. It tells the story of a dog born in Nazi Germany in 1935. The woofie is the beloved pet of a Jewish family, until the Nazis forbid Jews to have dogs. And then Caleb (or Coresh, as he is called in the original Hebrew) begins a life of wandering. Mummy read it in Hebrew, of course, but it is also available in English -and We warmly recommend it. Only make sure you have a large box of tissues handy when reading it.

Now, dear Furriends, it is time to join the Blog Hop and then I shall let My Petcretary (a.k.a. Mummy) go down to feed the Homeless Kitties before it starts raining again.

Wishing you all, once more, a Good Week.

Warm/Cold Sleepy Sunday

Hallo again, Effurryone!

It is I, Sir Caspurr the Courageous, Furrst of His Name, Commander-in-Chief of the Impurrial Forces, King of the Tigger-Tabbies!

Shavua Tov (a Good Week) to you all. We hope you are having decent weather. We had almost a week of Truly Terrible Weather, when Water poured out of the sky all day and all night, and the Wind was howling all night and all day, and Mummy even missed a couple of days of feeding the Homeless Kitties because the weather was so stormy (though not two days in a row, fortunately).
Yesterday and today, however, Mr. Rain seems to have gone away (though they say he will be back at the weekend) and Mr. Sunshine has come out of hiding. But it is still furry, furry cold - so cold, in fact, that yesterday evening, Mummy had the gas-fired central heating on (which We love, because it means We can sit on the lovely hot radiators) AND the Air Conditioning, and She was STILL cold!!!
It went down to 1 degree Celsius last night. This morning, We awoke to 5 degrees and it has now reached 9. Some of you purrobably think that's not too bad (that's about 48 F), but We beg to differ!

That being the case, We aren't too keen on the expression "chill out" at present (mol)!

Today being Sunday, We are taking part in the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop hosted by the wonderful Kitties Blue and their HuMum, Janet. You may have noticed that We take strict turns and this week, it is MY turn. So here I am, warming My Tummy (and as much else as possible) by the small heater in the bedroom. In fact, as a Special Treat to all the Ladycats (mol), you can actually see two of Me.

Now, before joining the blog hop, We must post the badge. Here it is:

And off We go:

Trixie's Chilly Caturday Art

Hallo again, Effurrybody!

Shavua Tov (a Good Week) to you all.

It has been furry cold and rainy here and although it hasn't snowed (yet), it is furry definitely Winter. Last night, Mummy thought She would brave The Weather and nip down in what She thought was a brief Lull in the rain, to feed the Homeless Kitties in Our Street. Unfortunately, it started drizzling again the meowment She walked out of the door and by the time She got back, it was pouring once more. We hope Mummy hasn't caught another cold because of that.

The Inclement Weather inspired Us to produce this piece of Caturday Art, as Our Entry in the Caturday Art Blog Hop hosted by the Wise and Beautiful Athena and her HuMum, Marie:

This was a picture of Me,  snuggled up next to Mummy, who added the Watercolour Effect at 44%, and a snowflake border, all from her favourite LunaPic. It's quite purrty, don't you think?

Now it's time to join the Blog Hop. First, here is the Badge:

And off We go!

Sunday Selfie Starring Shimshi

Hallo, Effurrybuddies!

This is going to be a furry short post today, because Mummy has to abandon leave Us to Our Own Devices for a while, while She goes off to spend some time with Her Sister, who is recovering from a hip opurration.  She purromisses it will only be for a few hours - and We shall purrobably spend that time sleeping, snuggled up together somewhere warm (because it is furry cold today, though at least not raining). In fact, it is lucky We had the Central Heating fixed last week!

So here am I, the Mighty Shimshon (a.k.a. Shimshi, a.k.a. The Little Purrince), Master of the Queen's Mischiefs and Captain of the Guard, in an off-duty meowment, posing for my Sunday Selfie, which will be Our Entry in the Sunday Selfies blog hop hosted by the Kitties Blue and their HuMom, Janet.

Before We join the blog hop, We want to wish you all - as usual - Shavua Tov (a Good Week).

Now We put up the Badge:

Kicking Off The New Year With Caturday Art

Hallo there, Effurryone!

Shavua Tov (a Good Week) to you all!

Guess who is Your Host today?
It is ME, Sir Caspurr the Courageous, Furrst of His Name, Commander-in-Chief of the Impurrial Forces, King of the Tigger Tabbies!
Although today, it was more like Caspurr the Sleepyhead.

Well, what else would you have me do, when the weather is so cold and grey and there is nothing to look at but water falling out of the sky in sheets?
(Yes, yes, I know. Eat. Of course, I did that. But after eating, it's always time for a nap - especially on Shabbat afternoon.)

Mummy artified this picture, using the Tattoo Art Effect and one of the picture frames from LunaPic and this will be Our Entry in the furrst Caturday Art blog hop of 2020, hosted by the beautiful and furry wise Athena and her HuMum, Marie.

Here is the Original Picture.

Looking at it now, I can see there must have been some sunshine after all - and I slept through it! Quel dommage!

Well, it can't be helped! At least I won't miss the blog hop.

Furrst, We must put up the Badge:

And off We go - as We wish you a Happy Mew Year!
