Shimshi the Gold Medallist: Caturday Art and Sunday Selfies

Hallo, hallo there, Effurrybuddies!

Have you been watching the Cat-O-Lympics? Did you see Me and My Brofur Caspurr take Gold in the Synchronised Snoozing contest?

If you missed it, here, as compensation, is a picture of Me -  the Mighty Shimshon (Shimshi for short), Furrst of My Name, a.k.a The Little Purrince,  a.k.a The Baby Mancat, Master of the Queen's Mischiefs and Captain-of-the-Guard, wearing My Medal.

As you may have surmised, it is My Turn to repurresent the J-Cats in this weekend's blog hops - the Caturday Art blog hop, hosted by the Wise and Beautiful Athena and her HuMum, Marie, and the Sunday Selfies blog hop, hosted by the Delightfully and Predictably Unpredictable Kitties Blue and their HuMom, Janet.  The latter are celebrating 10 years of hosting the Sunday Selfies blog hop. That is certainly something worth celebrating!

We artified this pawtrait with the help of LunaPic, using the Dreaming effect at 26%:

Trixie has also won her furrst competition in the current Cat-O-Lympics, easily taking the Gold in the Slinky Glamour Walk. And all three of Us have additional events later this week.

Now, here are a couple more pictures of Me, which We artified (courtesy of LunaPic). Furrst up, here I am awaiting an impawtant phone call. I can't remember from whom, but it must have been impawtant, as I don't use The Phone for Idle Chit-Chat (mol):

For this one, We used Saber at 45%, for a furry artsy-fartsy effect:

Finally, here is a picture of Me showing a Dangly Paw. We all love Dangly Paw pictures, don't We? So I put My Best Paw forward and - voilĂ !

For the artification here, We used not one, but two LunaPic filters - Cartoon at 50%, overlaid with Fairy at 37%:

I am finding it furry hard indeed to choose a Favourite. How about you?

Now, as to anniversaries, Mummy also had something to celebrate last week - the 50th anniversary of her move to Israel. That was a gazillion years before We were born, of course, so We don't really know all that much about it. But if you would like to read a bit about Ye Olden Days, you can take a look at Mummy's own blog. Did you know She has been blogging for 18 years?!

Right, now it is time to start hopping. Before We set out, here are the blog hop badges:

That's all for now, but We'll be back again next week - same Cat Time, same Cat Channel.

Till then - be well. Be safe. We love you all.

Huge congrats to the staff on fifty years plus the eighteen years. Why thats sixty eight years!or maybe thats thirty two years? Anyways, figures dont count, it's what we do with the time. And just look at that medal to prove it. Practice, lots and heaps of practice all pay off. The paw over the edge reminds me of Mrs H demonstrating to the kids how to do the crawl.MOL
Anyways, I do hope when that call came it was an offer to be vice president to Kamala?
Start at VP then maybe work up in a month or two to be president, MOL
All your picture art is fab this week, the chair dangling paw tied with your medal.

You look great! I especially like the LunaPic Dreaming effect.

Congrats to your mummy for 18 years of blogging. I only know of a few people other than myself who have been blogging that long.
