Big News

Hallo, Effurrybody!

Earlier this week, Caspurr passed his final exam in Advanced Birdwatching, Summa Cum Miauwday

Now that he has his Diploma, he is taking a few days well-earned rest (as am I, his Teacher) before commencing a one-month Internship under My tutelage. When he completes that successfully (as I am sure he will), he will be fully qualified and will receive his licence to practice Birdwatching.

Now, as tutoring him has been quite exhausticating, I must have a little rest myself.

So it's over to Caspurr, who wants to add a few words of his own.

Have a Great Weekend!

Hallo, Effurryone!

It's me, Caspurr! I see my Big Sisfur has already told you that I now have my CertifiCat in Advanced Birdwatching. She made Me work effur so hard for it, you know. But she's a Good Teacher - and a Good Sisfur too. I love her furry much - even though she's a bit bossy at times.

Now, I too, must have a little nap to regain my strength after all that studying.

Have a lovely weekend, Effurryone.

Another Week Draws To A Close

Hallo, Effurrybody!

Our Human has been Most Neglectful of Us, this Week! Just because she had a concert with her Choir on Sunday and another one coming up tomorrow, she thinks that's an adequate reason for going out to rehearsals and leaving Us to Our Own Devices for hours on end!!!

And she leaves the computer switched off, so we can't hang out with our kitty pals!

I ask you - is that Shellfish selfish or is that selfish?!

Of course, We got our own back. She came back to find her porcelain dolls scattered all over the floor, and leaves from her houseplants chewed up and spewed up all over the carpet.

But naturally, when she looked for the culprits, we were just lying there as Good as Gold (mol).

She should thank Us, really. Most of those houseplants are old and tired and it's time she got some new ones. We think a planter full of catnip or catmint would be fine for starters (heh heh heh).

Actually, she has planted some cat grass for Us but she says it hasn't finished growing yet.

Hurry up, Mummy! Impatient kitties here....

The Pick of the Pics

Hallo, Effurrybody!

The purr-purr-azzi got some pretty good shots of Us since our last post, so we're just going to show you the pick of the crop.

Here they are:

Trixie heard someone say that cleanliness is next to Codliness - or maybe it was Cuddlyness  (mol).

Caspurr finally managed to tear a big enough hole in the mosquito screen for him to get out onto the window-ledge. Mummy nearly had kittens!!!

Just look at these fangs:

And how about these belly spots?

Our Human likes to sneak up on us and take pictures when We are asleep - but We can feel her presence and We open our eyes just in time:

She also likes it when we give her melting looks, like this:

And now for Mummy's absolute favourite. She has been waiting for a photo opportunity like this for weeks - ever since Caspurr joined the Family:

And, last but not least - see our new profile picture:

That's all for now, Effurryone. Tomorrow is Friday and that means the weekend is just around the corner. So Shabbat Shalom to all our Furr-iends and to their Humans too. Have a lovely weekend.

A Few Words from Caspurr

Hallo, Effurrybody!

Guess who this is! That's right - it's ME, Caspurr! This is my very first blog. Mummy and Trixie said I have made such good progress with my lessons, that I can now write a few words on my own. Mummy is helping Me with my spelling.

So, what shall I tell you? I know - I'll tell you all about my visit to the v-e-t on Tuesday. I'm always Very Good about going to the v-e-t. I got into my carrier with no problems at all and Mummy took me down to the taxi. When Mummy takes Me for a ride, it's fun because I get to see lots of new things out of the window. The only thing I don't like is when there are speed bumps in the road, because I feel a bit sick when we go bumping over them.

The nice lady v-e-t loves Me very much. It was her who told Mummy about Me and so it's thanks to her that I have such a nice home with Mummy and my Big Sisfur, Trixie. I think maybe she wishes she had taken Me to live with her instead, because she said to Mummy she'd give her a thousand shekels if Mummy would let her keep Me! But Mummy said NO WAY.

Anyway, the reason I had to go to Dr. Einat was to get my second set of shots. She and her assistant, Yardena - and Mummy too - talked to Me while they did it, and distracted Me and truly, I hardly felt a thing. She's a Very Good V-e-t.

Then we came home and Trixie let me groom her - at least, for a few seconds, till she lost patience.

After that, Trixie used our tree to jump up onto her new, favourite place - on the top of Mummy's bookcase - and I curled up on Mummy's lap and went to sleep.

Have a nice weekend, effurryone!
