Caturday Art for Sukkot

Hallo again, Effurryone!

It is I, Caspurr the Courageous, Furrst of My Name, Commander-in-Chief of the Impurrial Forces, King of the Tigger - Tabbies, bringing  you the latest news from Our Far from Humble Abode (mol).

Sukkot (Tabernacles) is almost upon Us. It starts tomorrow evening with a festive meal in the sukkahOur sukkah is up in the Enchanted Forest, of course, and you are all invited to come and feast with Us there, tomorrow evening, 7.30 P.M. (Israel time).

Mummy's bruvva, Our Uncle Diddy (the one who lives in England and who doesn't really like cats - or so he says), is visiting Us for a few days, so We have had to give up Our Playroom for him to sleep in. We hope he is duly appurreciative of Our Generosity.

Today, We are taking part in the Caturday Art blog hop hosted by the Wise and Beautiful Athena and her HuMum, Marie.

Now, I have to tell you that, unfortunately, I had a reappearance of the mysterious wounds that were troubling Me a couple of months ago and which seemed to have cleared up  - this time, on my chin. And I kept scratching at them, so Mummy is making Me wear that horrible Cone of Shame again:

Mummy said I should think of it as a fashion accessory, like an Elizabethan ruff, but Trixie and Shimshi said it's more like a halo, framing My Handsome Face, and that gave Mummy the idea of using this picture as a base for this week's Caturday Art, which she artified using the Heatmap effect, from Lunapic, at 52%.

It does look more like a kind of shimmering halo, don't you think?

Right, now it's time to join the blog hop - but not before wishing you, as usual, Shavua Tov (a Good Week) and also, to those who celebrate Sukkot, Chag Sameach (a Happy Holiday), and also not before adding the badge:

And off We go:

Err maybe they aren't wounds but feline acne. Socks used to get it Mom had to start feeding him out of a stainless steel dish and we got a stainless water bowl and it cleared up. Mom said it sort of looked like wounds especially since he scratched it. Hope you get the cone off soon.

Chag Sameach! We are sorry those wounds came back, Caspurr. Like ATCAD said above, could it be feline acne?

Another cat blogger (I think it is "Four Crazy Cats" but am not sure) have had the same problem - extensively - with one of their cats and are finally getting it under control. You may want to check them out and I will try to confirm that I have referred you to the correct blog.

Yes - this is the correct blog. Oliver is the kitty's name. You can scroll back through the posts or search back. He is mentioned at the end of the Oct 7 post with the latest update.

I like the idea of calling your collar a halo. I hope your chin is better soon.

I know about the chin problems. Ive had chin scabs for 2 months. Its the mice for me. They are are fierce here and resent being eaten for some reason, ~ MARLEY
