Getting Back in the Groove

Hallo, Effurrybody!

Well, I had my stitches out yesterday and I am recovering nicely. Today, Mummy moved my private bathroom back to its usual place and, as of tonight, everything will be back to normal.

Caspurr is almost twice the size he was when he first arrived, just three weeks ago and yesterday afternoon, Mummy took him to the nice lady v-e-t to have his first shots. Now it's up to Me to continue his training. My Human TOTALLY relies on Me for that - because who is better qualified to teach him proper kitty ways, after all? It is a Great Responsibility which I have graciously consented to take upon Myself.

Mummy has taken lots and lots of  pictures of us with the flashy box that she talks to sometimes. That is ever so strange, isn't it, kitties? Why would she talk to her flashy box?

Be that as it may, some of the pictures were quite nice, so maybe you'd like to see them. Here is a small selection. Enjoy - and have a peaceful Shabbat and a lovely weekend!

Trixie, hurrah for getting your stitches out! We're glad you've healed nicely and are back to normal (presumably).

Our human is almost fainting at Caspurr's tummy spots. OMC, they're too adorable!

And your fangs....! Wow, those are impressive!

Trixie I hope you don't mind but mum says she wants to snorgle Caspurr's tummy!! She is very strange! It is good you are recovering and back to normal. You will be able to train Caspurr to a very high standard of catology now!

We are glad to hear you have done so well from your little adventure at the vet's. Was that fanged laugh for one of Caspurr's "kitty kapers"?

The human think's Caspurr's spotted belly is just perfect for a snorgle!

We are so happy you got your stitches out, Trixie. With those fangs, we bet Caspurr will pay good attention to your fabulous instruction. :)

Thank you, Caspurr and Mummy Shimona for stopping by with such kind and thoughtful comments when it was time for our Sammy to leave for the Bridge. Your words, purrs and prayers are such a comfort to us at this sad time.

Hugs,

Kevin, Tracey and Moosey

Hey, there, Trixie. Glad to hear your stitches are gone and you are feeling better.

Maybe you can think of Caspurrr as the kitten you'll never have. That was kind of the way Grace O'Malley handled Billy White Shoes, and both seemed to enjoy the training process. It saved Dad a lot of stress with the weaning and toilet training. (it also gave Gracie a chance to sit on top of Billy and call it 'teaching' :-D)
