Greetings, Effurryone!
After a few cool days towards the end of last week, the tempurratures are rising again. We are looking at temps in the upper-30s C over the next few days. Mummy has another one of her field trips tomorrow and it's going to be furry, furry hot (39 degrees C)!
We kitties, on the other hand, can allow ourselves the Luxury of staying home and stretching out on the cool floor, or in the shade under the bed. This time, We don't mind if Mummy pulls down the blinds!
Howeffur, We will exert Ourselves sufficiently to hold Our Yom Yerushalayim (Jerusalem Liberation Day) picnic on Wednesday, June 5th. That is the day when We celebrate the Reunification of Jerusalem in the Six Day War, 57 years ago. As usual, the picnic will take place in the Enchanted Forest, overlooking the Old City of Jerusalem. We hope you will join Us there - at 5pm in the afternoon, Israel Time. By that time of the day, it will be slightly cooler - but just in case it isn't, there will be plenty of cold drinks, and mice cream. We have just purrfected the recipe for a new flavour - Valerian mice cream!

In this furrst one, Mummy had just woken Me up - or maybe I woke up by Myself. I can't remember really, and it doesn't really matter now, does it?

Caspurr, your selfies are all stunning! I think the art version of the first picture might be my favorite, but it's hard to choose. They're all so snazzy!
Caspurr, yes, you really have elevated this selfie thing to an art. Even the unartified pictures are artful. I love them all, though I think my fave this week is number 2.

You are yawning roaringly, I'd say, and my favorite picture is the Tongue-Out Photo. Those are always wonderful when a cat will deign to allow us to snap one.
My cats, Dansig the Round, Link Linker the Stinker, the Charismatic Enigma SissyCat, and the Tripod SissyCat, insisted not long ago I had no choice but to go find their tunnel when they found out they were missing out on so many pawties around the blogosphere. They'd quit bothering to play with it, not knowing it could teleport them, but we figured it out and now they are ready to attend and celebrate with all of you.
I am praying for the peace of Jerusalem.

Me and dad love the natural raspberry photo, and yeah, the artified version does look like you're wearing lipstick! Now that it's getting hot here, mom's taken up all the pieces of carpet and the porcelain tile floor feels good on my furs.
