It's the kind of weather in which no Cat with a grain of sense would go anywhere near a Tin Roof. The kind of weather in which it would be a CRIME to do anything but SNOOZE! As I, Sir Caspurr the Courageous, the Caspicatious, Furrst of My Name, the Snuggle Bug, Commander-in-Chief of the Impurrial Guard and King of the Tigger Tabbies, am doing here:
Well, actually, I can't go to sleep just yet, because I have a furry impawtant job to do today.

We chose two selfies this week, and made two different artsy-fartsy versions of each.

For no. 1, We used LunaPic's Shattered Effect at 35% and then added Ceremony at 50%:
The second artification used Escher at 46%, with an overlay of Beauty at 41% (also from LunaPic).

Now for Selfie no. 2. In this one, I had retired to the bedroom, in anticipation of Mummy joining Me there for Her Own Afternoon Nap.
Here, too, We were assisted by the Gremlins at LunaPic (mol). See this beautiful artification, using their Dark filter (71%), with a Monochrome overlay (31%) - furry dramatic, We think!
Finally, We combined the Starry2 effect at 52%, with Smoke at 28%.

Now, as We mentioned last week, Mummy's Caterwauling Club gave a concert on Fursday. She will most likely write all about it in her Own Bloggie either tomorrow or later on in the week. She did tell Us that it was unbearably hot in the Old City church where the concert was held. They don't seem to have installed Air Conditioning there, and they had to make do with strategically placed electric fans. Mummy thinks it was worse for the audience, because we had commandeered all the available fans for the use of the choir.
Anyway, that concert marked the end of the 2023/24 season, so Mummy doesn't have a rehearsal tonight and can stay home and caterwaul for Us, instead!

Dear Sir Caspurr, if it is not to furward of me, I'd like to comment on yer luvly tummy white spots. I am sorry it is so furry hot fur yer whole family. We were glad to hear yer Mummy made the singing happen and with lots of fans blowing around the hot air. Hope you git a cool down soon or lots of ice to lay on. It has been up and down here fur weather. Mostly up, so I only go on my catio early AM in the dark. Lynn will be lookin' fur the musical blog. Precious

We had a hot week in England, but it's cooler today. Our homes can get very hot upstairs and so sleeping can be hard, but then so can trying to do anything else!
All the pictures look very nice. It was really hot here so we had to find places to walk in the shade.

WoW! You guys are HOT! We are not looking forward to Hots! We are having seasonal weather that we have NOT had for the last 3 years. Mom says all the rain makes the grass and weeds grow and that means in addition to the new puppy, and creating all the Cat Brogosphere badges, she has extra gardening! We think she is a whiner! The heat is on full blast here too, Caspurr! We love your sleepy sprawl in the first picture, and that second artification is way 😎 cool. But wow, we love the second picture too, and the artification really make your stripes stand out ... So, we just can't choose!
I loved the one of Caspurr snoozing, it's a good thing he did considering the heat. Your art pieces are always outstanding. I think the second artification is the best and brightest.
Your poor Mom! I can't imagine gathering with a group in an enclosed space where everyone is emitting hot air as they sing. It's a wonder no one fainted.

Sir Caspurr - we agree that napping is the only thing to do when it is HOT, and it has been very hot here too. We love all your artwork. Mom is going to have to practice using two Lunapic options at a time, like you do - so nicely done.

I do like the first selfie best, just as it is. My second favorite would be the first artification of the second selfie. Now my tongue is twisted from saying it!

Oh, you made me laugh with several things you told us, and the poor audience listening to the caterwauling...woe are they!! Our temps are in the mid 90's f.
