Greetings, Effurryone!
It is I, Field Marshall Sir Caspurr the Courageous here, repurresenting the J-Cats in this weekend's blog hops - the Caturday Art blog hop, hosted by the Wise and Beautiful Athena and her HuMum, Marie, and the Sunday Selfies blog hop, hosted by Our Dear Furriends, the Predictably Unpredictable Kitties Blue and their HuMom, Janet.
Who would have believed that after Trixie's post last week, things would get even worse?
As you know, we are at war, dear furriends. Since we last posted, bloodcurdling details have emerged of the terrible things the evil humans from Gaza did. Mummy wrote about some of them in her own blog last week. We don't want to write about them here, but We must tell you that the Hamas-ISIS murderers even slaughtered the animals in the kibbutzim which they managed to over-run.
Many people from areas nearest to the borders have been evacuated to safer places, but have been forced to leave behind beloved pets, as well as farm animals. And there were many furbabies who were so terrified of all the rockets and mortars and gunfire, that they fled. And that's without taking into account the many pet-owners who were murdered and left their furbabies orphans. Volunteer organisations are trying to take care of them.
We are determined, however, to do Our Best to stay in touch with you all and to keep posting effurry Sunday.
So, here is an artified, close-up pawtrait of me. Mummy didn't hesitate for so much as a minute in choosing a filter - LunaPic's Brave filter, at 100%.
And here are the blog hop badges:
The heartbreak of the past week is not only due to the War. We also learnt of the departure for the Rainbow Bridge of two beloved Feline Furriends - Brian, the handsome, gentle mancat from Brian's Home, and Sage (aka TKS), the sweet panfur princess from Savannah's Paw Tracks. Our sincerest and most heartfelt condolences to their pawrents and families. May these two precious furbabies now run free, forever young and healthy again, in the endless nip fields beyond the Bridge, safe in the Loving Paw of the Great Cat in the Sky.
That's all for now, dear anipals. We will try to visit as many of you as We can, over the course of the week.
Meanwhile, be well. Be safe. We love you all.

Dear Shimona and family, and furry little ones ~ words are inadequate to truly say how much we fear for you and all in your homeland. Our prayers go forth each and every day for your well being, your safety, and that this terror will not last. Stay strong, hold tight to your faith, you are not alone. Ann and June

With all the terrible atrocities being committed I am very relieved to hear from you and that you all are safe. I keep you and the people of Israel in my prayers.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you right now.
Such horrors going on there are beyond our minds. So awful.
We are glad you are safe, and we pray all of your family and friends are too.
We prayed for your country at our church this morning.
Caspurr, that's a fabulous selfie. We think about y'all all day long and we're sad you are dealing with such a horrible situation. We love you all too. Be safe hugs coming your way.
Hey friends, at this point I'm not sure who I thanked and who I haven't, so just in case...thank you so much for your kind words on the passing of our dear Brian. We all sincerely appreciate your kindness and your friendship.
Dad Terry
We were thinking of you.
Our prayers are with you.
We're thinking about you guys constantly. The horror is just incomprehensible.
We are purring and praying for you and all those affected by this horrible war. Please stay safe!
So much sadness. I pray you all stay safe.XO
Yes, Caspurr's face says it all. It's horrible that Hamas goes around killing innocent animals, and non-military people. I'm just glad to know that most of the rest of the world has your back. It seems the Israelis have used much more restraint, so far. I'm happy to know all is ok with you to-date, and pray that it will continue to be so.
I also pray that the whole situation de-escalates sooner than later.
Sending you love, Wendy
A serious portrait at a serious time.
We have been thinking of you as we hear news of this senseless war. We are happy to know you’re safe, and we pray you remain that way. The killings are inexcusable, especially when it comes to children and animals as well as those kids and animals who are left homeless. We will continue to keep all of you and the state of Israel in our prayers. I have thought of you personally, Shimona, and the three babies with love and deep, deep concern. The news which I can barely bear watching, stays permanently ingrained in my mind. The terror, the anguish, and the subhumans who are doing this and enjoying it are beyond any redemption.
God bless Israel and its People.
We are glad you are safe and hope the war ends soon. There are not words to adequately describe all the awfulness.
Why don't men learn nothing from the past ? I am 80 now and nothing has changed since my birth ! Maybe we should have women in the governments they are less war thirsty. And who suffers, children and animals ! Sometimes I think it's like in the movie "back to the future" only I live "forward to the past" Take care !
My heart aches as I pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
We know things are kinna horrible where you are. TBT just keeps the news channels on the TV alla time, so we hear enough. Our paws are crossed for all of innocent Beins.
We hope you are in a relatively safe place. You ALL are in our thoughts often...
