Hallo again, Effurrybuddies!
Shimshi here, wishing you all Shavua Tov (a Good Week) and Chag Sukkot Sameach (A Happy Sukkot festival)!
Sukkot is one of the happiest festivals for Mewish cats and their humans, when We have lots of guests join Us in the Sukkah, and friends and families who might not have seen each other all year have a chance to get together. Mummy's brother, who lives in England (the one who claims he doesn't care for cats - but We don't believe him), usually comes to visit for Sukkot. But this year, because of the Evil Coronavirus, he can't come and as for Us, the country is again in full lockdown and people are supposed to stay home and celebrate only with their nuclear families, who live with them! Mummy is furry upset about that, as you can well imagine. The Zoomie app is no real substitute. (We don't understand, anyway, why they call it a Zoomie app, when effurryone stays where they are. When We do zoomies, We are all over the place!)
We have seen on other bloggies that today, October 4th, is also World Animal Day - known, too, as World Pet Day - an International celebration for Animal Rights and Welfare. Naturally, We wholeheartedly support that too.
As usual, today being Sunday, We are taking part in the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop, hosted by Our Furriends, the Kitties Blue and their HuMom, Janet.
Here is their badge:
And, of course, We are also taking part in the Caturday Art Blog Hop, hosted by the lovely Athena and her HuMum, Marie. Here is their badge:
To artify my already arty-looking selfie, We used the Smoke Art effect from LunaPic, at 60%. How do you like it?
Now We have to go as Mummy is expecting a visit from the plumber, because there is a leak in the bathroom (which, naturally, manifested itself on Furriday evening, since, of course, these things ALWAYS happen at the weekend - and especially a holiday weekend. And the fact that the whole country is in lockdown was just the icing on the cake!)
Before We go, We would remind you once more to stay safe, observe all the rules put in place to purr-tect you and your Humans from the Evil Coronavirus which is still lurking out there, and remember to Wash Your Paws furrequently!

That is a fabulous selfie Shimshi! Yep, that Covid thing has messed up a lot of things this year. Y'all be safe.
What a darling selfie today Shimshi! Stay well and healthy all.
Great selfie, Shimshi! Chag sameach, and stay healthy!
Emergencies always happen when it is most expensive, MOL
Great selfie this week, and the artwork reminds Mrs H of a wonderful stone slate effect she saw once. A delight no matter the surface, MOL
Purrs & Happy Zoomies

That is such great art!
We love the art effect! Paws crossed the leak was easily remedied and didn't cost your mum the proverbial arm and a leg. Trades people charge a lot here, we imagine it's the same everywhere!
We're not under another lockdown yet here in the province of Ontario, Canada, but cases have risen dramatically in this province and in the province of Quebec as well. Tighter restrictions have been put in place in the Toronto region, as well as Ottawa, but so far not here. But even here, thanks to partying/travelling university students, our small city's cases are on the rise. We hope and purray for a safe, viable vaccine in the first half of 2021, otherwise it's going to be another crazy year.
Take care; stay well and stay safe.
Very nice selfie and beautiful art. I am sorry your mom can't get together with family right now. XO
Shimshi, you took a wonderful selfie today. I never knew your tail was so pointy. The selfie also made a very nice artwork.
I hope your leak isn't too difficult to fix, and I hope your Mom gets to visit with family soon.
You sure can do a Selfie Shimshi and what Art too! You are a renaissance cat
Sweetheart, beautiful selfie you took and beautiful art work too. My mom's former hubby is in the hospital with a harsh condition but only one of our sons is allowed in to visit.
I remember your human Uncle saying he didn't like kitties. But you have found him out, I see.
Love you three. Furry muches.

That is lovely art. Yes, everything bad happens at the weekend. I had a bad gallstones attack on Sunday morning and was kept in hospital until last night. I am still waiting for the emergency operation to remove my gall bladder!
Sorry we missed it. But it sounds great!
