Greetings to all Our Furriends!
We have had quite a week! The Wicked Ayatollahs in Iran and their Evil Minions in Lebanon have been shooting rockets at Us all week. Usually, We get an Early Warning from Home Front Command a few minutes before the sirens start wailing, which gives Mummy an extra 2-4 minutes to get down to the Bomb Shelter. But yesterday morning, Shabbat, after a whole day Friday with no missiles (in Jerusalem, at least) the sirens went off at about 5:30 a.m. with no warning at all, and woke Mummy. We have neffur seen anyone who is not a Cat move so fast. She threw off the blankets, grabbed her Go Bag and hightailed it for the Shelter. On her way down, She heard boomies (She thinks it must have been the Iron Dome interceptors) and saw the sky lit up as if by lightning. We, meanwhile, scattered in three different directions. Each of Us has Our Prefurred Safe Place to hide in such eventualities.
That was definitely a scary start to Caspurr's 13th (Bar Mitzvah) Purrthday!!! Neffurtheless, there has been some easing of restrictions by Home Front Command as of last Thursday, and it is now purrmitted to hold gatherings of up to 50 people, as long as they are held in a venue where there is a propurr Bomb Shelter. So Mummy thinks She will go to her Caterwauling Club this evening, if only to raise Her Spirits.

What a mess it all is at the moment, paws crossed this will be over very soon and the bad people in Iran (not the ordinary people like you and me that are just as scared, and are oppressed by those nasty high ups) will be driven out so rational thinking people can take over.
We hope the singing goes well, and the raised voices cheer all who hear, and fill the hearts with peace and joy.

Mom has been thinking of you all non-stop. It must be so supper scary under the circumstances. And she has been worrying extra about you kitties when your mom heads for the shelter. The situation has to be intolerable. We definitely will be keeping you all in our prayers and hoping the madness does not carry on too much longer. OMC, we are so so sorry for your mama and having to be in a bomb shelter....what a world. SO SORRY for the idiot leading our country into disaster and everyone else's along with it. He is not only an idiot pawn for Putin, Shi and Netanyahu, he is just plain dangerous to all of us. LOVE your kitties and the colors of the cushions with their fur!

Netanyahu is leading Israel in what most of us see as a just and necessary war against an evil, fanatic Islamist regime which since it came to power 47 years ago, has threatened to destroy both Israel and the United States and, as we proved when our Intelligence managed to lay hands on their nuclear archives, was secretly enriching uranium and stockpiling long range ballistic missiles. There is absolutely no way he can be put in the same category as Putin and Xi! As for Trump, whatever you may think of his character and his performance in other fields, millions of Israelis - and Iranians too, who are crying out for his help and ours in throwing off the yoke of the ayatollahs - are thanking God that it is Trump who is sitting in the White House righr now, and not Kamala Harris!
I am so sad that this terrible situation continues, and gets even worse. I continue to pray for all your safety.

I have to admit I have grave reservations about Donald Trump. But considering what the Iranian regime has been doing for decades to their own people, their misogyny, the persecution of the Bahai and Kurds and their destablization of the region, I think it's a case of cometh the Hour, cometh the man.
Of course, in an ideal world, America and Iran would be led by a wise old cat. Now who do we know who fits that description purrfectly? And who is modest, with no sense of self-impawtence?

Such scary times for all of you caught in the crosshairs of evil. Its good that your Mommy can get herself to the bomb shelter, but we sure hope you'll akll be OK when you are not with her. Indeed, she needs that 'caterwauling time, to havew something good to take her mind off the goings on there. And of course you three all help with that too.
We prayed for the situation in our Church worship service today. I myself pray you will remain safe and that this horrible mess will soon end, and that once again you can live peaceably.

We are allowed (by law) but there is no way Mummy could get even one of Us into a carrier in the very short time available, let alone 3 (assuming She could even find us). The neighbours bring their woofies, but woofies are trained to obey, whereas We are born to command. When We hear the sirens, even the pre-alert, We run and hide.
It's scary as right now in the world, we pray for peace, we pray everypawdy stays safe. Happy Birthday Caspurr, we hope your day was furbulous!!! 🎊🎉🎊
