Spring is in the Air: Caturday Art and Sunday Selfies

Greetings, Effurrybody!

Spring really does seem to be in the air! Furriday was officially the Furrst Day of Spring and although it was rainy, as was Caturday, today is fine and sunny and We are looking at sunshine and warm weather (up to 29 degrees Celsius) all week. That will make Mummy furry happy as She has another of her field-trips tomorrow. Speaking of Mummy's field-trips, she has a post up on her own bloggie about her last field-trip, at the beginning of the month, to the Golan Heights. Just as well they went when they did - and We aren't talking about the Weather...

Today, I, Queen Trixie, Furrst of My Name, Empurress of Jerusalem, Israel and the Entire Middle East, Queen of Hearts, the Panfur Princess, Guardian of the Boudoir and Alpha Kitty Extraordinaire, will be leading My Fellow J-Cats on this weekend's blog hops - the Caturday Art blog hop, hosted by the Wise and Beautiful Athena and her HuMum, Marie, and the Sunday Selfies blog hop, hosted by the Deliciously and Predictably Unpredictable Kitties Blue and their HuMom, Janet.

Out of countless pawssible pawtraits, We chose this one, where I was curled up next to Mummy on the sofa (Mummy had to edit it by cropping her big foot out of the picture - MOL):

We then artified it with LunaPic's Picasso effect at 35%:

But then We thought We would try something completely different. We went over to PhotoFunia and searched for a frame suitable for Spring. This is what We found - although, unfortunately, Mummy had to crop part of ME this time:

Mummy loves daffodils - they were her own Mummy's favourite flowers.

Finally, We went back to LunaPic and artified this picture too - using the Landscape effect at 65%:

So, there you have it, Furriends and Admirers. Which one do you like best?

Okay, next, here are the blog hop badges:

Last, but by no means least, We want to remind you that (Great Cat in the Sky-willing) We will be back again next week - same Cat Time, same Cat Channel.

Till then, be well. Be safe, We love you all.

Queen Trixie, We like the artwork with the picture frame the daffodils and the Easter bunnies. It makes us feel like spring is coming. Our first day was on March the 20th but let me tell you we've had snow one day and two mornings where the bird baths have been frozen again. Lynn loves daffodils too and she has hundreds of them starting to pick up through the ground and show some yellow. We hope your mum had an amazing trip. Lynn got behind times and she hasn't looked at the last one yet but she will now because it's too cold to go outside.

Your selfie and art are all lovely. We have had two weeks of mostly good weather. The temperature is even getting to 15-16C, but still cold at night.

Queen Trixie, the kitties and I just love that picture of you! The original is wonderful but I do love the added texture of the artifications, and the spring-themed borders, too!

Queen Trixie, Furrst of My Name, Empurress of Jerusalem, Israel and the Entire Middle East, Queen of Hearts, the Panfur Princess, Guardian of the Boudoir and Alpha Kitty Extraordinaire. Your official Spring pawtrait is drop dead gorgeous! And the art! Beyond compare! You are fabulishious! 29 is a little warm for this time of year. When we finally rousted our Peep out of bed this morning, we discovered we has SNOW! It is still at 0 and sometimes the precipitation is water and when you look again, it is flakes! Sigh! We hope it stops by noon! Keep being awesome! Marvelous Marv

Queen Trixie, you're as gorgeous as ever! My favourite is the last, the artified one with daffodils! (I, too, love daffodils, though we have a while to wait for ours this year.)

Queen Trixie, these are delightful and the second artified one in the frame is my favorite (I generally do not have a favorite, but this time I do).

Thank you for sharing your beauty with us and enjoy the warm days of spring!

Hi Trixie! It's so nice to see you today, and we love your selfie curled up next to your Mum. And even though Mummy had to crop a bit of you, we really like the first one with the frame. Hugs!
