Keeping Our Heads Above Water: Caturday Art and Sunday Selfies With Trixie

Hallo once more, Effurrybody!

It is I, Queen Trixie, here to lead my Fellow J-Cats on this weekend's blog hops - the Caturday Art blog hop, hosted by the Wise and Beautiful Athena and her HuMum, Marie,  and the Sunday Snoozies Selfies blog hop, hosted by the Delightful, Predictably Unpredictable Kitties Blue and their HuMom, Janet.

Despite the steadily increasing tensions on Israel's northern border, We ourselves don't have anything special to report. Mummy is getting more and more upset at the lack of progress in freeing the Israeli hostages being held by the Evil Humans in Gaza, and does not understand why the whole world is putting pressure on Israel, rather than on the Evil Ones who kidnapped and murdered Our People and started this war. But We are keeping Our heads above water and trying to get by from day to day.

We had a furry nice seder last week. Tonight, Mummy and Uncle D. are dining with Auntie N., to celebrate the seventh and last day of Pessach (Passover). We hope they remember to bring Us a kitty bag!

Now, to business!
We artified My Pawtrait (above) with LunaPic's Frida art effect, which
is high on Our list of favourites, although We haven't used it for quite a while. We set the filter at 80%. Isn't it purrty?

In honour of Pessach, We are giving you 2 more of My Selfies, with artifications by LunaPic. Furrst, here is one which Mummy snapped while I was sleeping (furry rude of Her to do that, I think. Don't you agree?)

This was artified with the Smoke effect, at 44%:

The third picture came out just a tad blurred, but since it shows my tummy and tongue, Mummy thought you would forgive Us just this once. You do, don't you?

And in the artsy-fartsy version, which uses Sadness at 50% and Picasso at 45%, you don't notice the blurring at all!

Now We shall add the blog hop badges:

That's all for the time being. We will see you next week (Great Cat in the Sky  willing). Till then - Be well. Be safe. We love you all.

Queen Trixie, we are so furry happy to see that you have had a peaceful week. Even though your mummy is very concerned understandably, she did great taking pictures of you and making wonderful artwork. And that she and your aunt and uncle can all have a wonderful dinner together. I do hope you get lots of treats afterwards because we kitties deserve it. Precious

Trixie...I enjoyed our sedar gathering in the Enchanted Forest. I was glad we could exchange ideas of enhancing our natural glamour while having our noms after the celebration. We girlcats need to have an excursion to the finest establishments for something lovely such as a new necklace or tiara.

I love the first picture with the LunaPic's Frida effect. Tell your mummy to bring you to the United States. You could all live here in Virginia, and it’s a nice place for cats.

Trixie, all your selfies and art are lovely; my favourite is the first. I really like that Frida filter!

I hope you all do get to sample goodies from a "kitty" take-out bag!

Yes, the photos and artworks are beautiful, they have you in them.

In fact, your sleep position is striking and unique.

As for the third photo, I consider a raspberry quite appropriate as a cat response to the current political situation in which you find yourselves. Claws need to come out next. It's never right to murder, take prisoners, or support those who do.

I am praying for the peace of Jerusalem.

We used to use Lunapic a lot to edit our photos, but MOm hasn't done it in a while. Your creations are quite lovely.

We hope you all have a peaceful week and wish the whole world could be a lot more peace-filled.

Trixie, you are beautiful, and I love all your art. I don't understand why everyone is turning against Israel either. XO

You look most beautiful Queen Trixie, but you always do. Hey, the world has gone nuts supporting the evil killing humans and attacked your country. It's pretty disgusting over here. Y'all keep safe!

Beautiful photos and art! We love tongues and tummies :) I watch the news here in the US and just can't believe the things I'm seeing and hearing. It's embarrassing and our leadership should be putting a stop to it! If we had any leadership, that is...

Trixie, it is always nice to see you, and we love your selfies this week. The art turned out so great, too! Please know you and all of our friends in Israel are in our hearts.

I enjoyed all those selfies and the artworks, too!

I have not ever tried those art making places such as lunapic...Hmmm.

Praying for peace and shalom for Israel, and for your safety too.

We absolutely love all your original photos and especially the art ones. Praying for you and all those being held captive. We feel so fortunate and often guilty that we sit here in the USA, and though we have horrifying mass shootings and ongoing protests, we are safe and happy in our home. May God be with you and peace not far behind. XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta & Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh
