Mummy woke Me up to remind Me that it is My Turn to lead the J-Cats on this weekend's blog hops - the Caturday Art blog hop, hosted by the Wise and Beautiful Athena and her HuMum, Marie and the Sunday Selfies blog hop, hosted by the Sweetly Unpredictable Kitties Blue and their HuMom, Janet.
You know, kitties, it's bad enough to have My Beauty Sleep interrupted to take a Selfie, but it's even worse that Mummy didn't even give me time to get My Beautiful Furs in order before letting loose with the Flashy Box!
I insisted on being allowed time to purrform my Toilette, before posing propurrly, like this:
That's much better, don't you think?
We tried three different artifications from LunaPic for Our Caturday Art. Here is the furrst - Crayon at 30%, to give just the merest hint of pink colour to my black furs:
I wasn't completely satisfied with that one, so next up, We tried Frost, at 50% (which you might consider an odd choice, considering the furry satisfying rise in tempurrature this past week):
Mummy felt there was still something missing, so Our Third and Final Attempt was created using the Dark effect at 70%:
We both think that this time, We nailed it.
Still, you know what they say - chacun à son goût.

Before We set out on the bloggie hops, We want to remind you that this coming Fursday is Israel Independence Day. It is preceded on Wednesday by Remembrance Day for the Fallen of Israel's Wars, and comes exactly one week after Holocaust Martyrs and Heroes Remembrance Day, about which Mummy wrote in her own blog.
On Independence Day, We will be holding Our Traditional Barbecue up in the Enchanted Forest. We are so glad that the Evil Mutant Ninja Coronavirus has retreated sufficiently for Us to be able to have pawties once more and that We can invite you all to join Us at 2 pm Israel Time on Fursday. The exact co-ordinates will be sent to your Transporter Devices. If any anipal needs a lift, let Us know. We can send a Magical Flying Carpet to pick you up.

All three art effects are lovely but Frost and Dark are my favourites.
Lovely ~ perhaps we like "Dark" the best, highlighting the golden tips of your furs, it is very pretty, as you are!

BTW, we also love your first selfie, your eyes have a slightly crazed look in them. LOL. We know it's just the angle and the light, but we thought it was adorable. It reminded the biped of her angel Annie's occasional expressions. :-)
