Hallo, Effurrybuddies!
It is furry, furry, furry HOT!
We have heard that all over the World, the Weather has been furry hot - and if not that, then there have been FLOODS. It seems like the Evil Coronavirus wasn't enough! The Whole Wide World has gone CRAZY!
We haven't had floods here in Israel, but, as I said, it is H O T!!!
This Little Kitty isn't dumb enough to go and sit on a Hot Tin Roof, however and I have been attempting to chill out indoors. But the heat makes Me furry tired and sleepy, so I haven't been inventing many new Mischiefs lately, despite being Officially designated Master of the Queen's Mischiefs. Instead, I have been snoopervising Mummy furry closely to see what She is getting up to.
For example, when She opens one of the cupboards in the Kitchen, I have to check out the contents furry diligently, to make sure Mummy is eating the right noms. Otherwise, how will She stay healthy and be able to take propurr care of Us?
This week, they are commemorating the Amazing and Handsome Mau, who flew away to the Bridge a year ago. And, like all of Us, they are still waiting and purraying for Sweet Sawyer to come home.
Here is their Badge:
We are also pawticipating in the Caturday Art Blog Hop, hosted by the Wise and Lovely Athena and her HuMum, Marie, whose Badge We present below:
For this, We used a slightly different picture, which was slightly (only just slightly) blurred:
We tried all kinds of LunaPic filters, and in the end, We found no less than FIVE which We thought looked really good, only Mummy and I could not agree which one was best - not with each other, and not with ourselves (mol).
Furrst of all, the Delaunay filter at 75%:
Next, the Grey filter at 30%:
Next up - the Waves filter at 25%:
One of the reasons We found it hard to choose, was the similarity between these two. In fact, the next one, Smoke - at 50% - is also quite hard to distinguish from the previous two.
But Option #5, Nouveau at 70%, is completely different - and furry colourful:
Let Us know in the Comments section, which is your favourite.
Here in Israel, We are again seeing almost a thousand new COVID-19 cases daily - mostly the Delta Variant. The Humans in Charge want to see if the Crisis can be managed without going back into lockdown, but that depends on the Goodwill and Cooperation of the People (and so, it seems unlikely, says Mummy, cynically).
Anyway, if We are facing a 4th Wave, you probably are too - or will be, sooner or later. That being the case, We hope you and your Humans are remembering to take all sensible Precautions for your Purrtection: Social Distancing, Face-Masks and (it goes without saying) - WASHING YOUR PAWS!
Be safe. Be well. We love you all!

You are doing a good job of snoopervising. The Delaunay filter is my favourite.
Covid is rapidly going up here again, but many fewer hospitalisations and deaths...at the moment. Tomorrow the final lockdown restrictions are being lifted even though positive cases are almost doubling every week. It is madness!
You're such a cute cupboards checker and the art is all fabulous!
Your face is precious! That is the most smoochable sweet face EVER!
Our favorite is the waves filter at 25%. It really emphasizes the wonderful expression on your face!
We hope it cools off a bit there, and that the public will be good about helping hold off the COVID wave. Be safe.
It's a crazy scary world out there for sure.
Love the art!
We especially like the first and last art pics, and really can't choose between them. All of them look great!
Here in Canada, some provinces have removed all pandemic restrictions, including mask-wearing, which is a very, very foolish thing to do, we think. Our province (Ontario) has just entered stage 3 of re-opening; the final stage is 4. We would be real money that we all will end up with a fourth wave in the fall and winter, when schools open, universities classes resume on campus, and cold/flu season takes hold. It's going to be MUCH harder to convince people to follow restrictions after opening up yet again, then closing down YET again. The biped is fully vaccinated now, thank goodness, and wears the highest grade of Health Canada-approved surgical masks when she's out, and she also takes her own sanitizing wipes everywhere too. That's the best she can do. :-/
You all take care and stay well! Purrs from Derry.
Very cute selfie. I love all your art, but my favorite is the first followed by the last one. Keep cool. XO
Shimshi we like that perch you have and your art too. We were friends with Mau and miss him so he was such a great fellow. Tell Mom to stay safe with that nasty Covid sneaking around your Country
You're doing a great job snoopervising your Mom.
Great artwork.
The Florida Furkids
Shimshi, I think you look adorable staring into the cabinet. You wanna crawl in there I just know it! Your artwork is great. Here it was hot, but then we got lots and lots of rain. Some people had flooding. Fortunately, we didn't. The virus just won't go away!!
I LOVE the photo, it looks SOOOO cheeky!!!!
You're such a good kitty to look after your mom like that!
Kittens Wolfie and Tilly are also interested in exploring every cabinet I open. I think I like the Delaunay filter the most.
Number five is my favorite. The variant has not reached us yet but I'm keeping my masks ready. At least my family is vaccinated.
shimshi ....dood....theez fotoz bee like de awesumest; lookz like yur thinkin...thatz KNOT cat foodz !! just what iz it !!! we iz crackin up buddy !!! ☺☺♥♥ we hope thiz finz ewe all safe & happee & healthee and gram pawz doin soooper grate two ♥♥♥
I'll vote for two and five being my fives. Great vantage point to snoopervise.
We're having sorta a pandemic of the unvaccinated. Dunno how humans can be so stupid and pig-headed. My peeps are vaxxed and they still wear masks cos of those covidiots.
Love your Original - Kitty looks so curious.
The edits were all great but my favorites were the first and the last ones.
We've been havin' the hots here, too. Hot and humid. Terrible for the furs. But yesterday and then overnight we had some major boomies and super heavy rain; and that has sort of cleared some of the mugginess out. Thank goodness for that! Today is so much better. Almost chilly, in fact. MOUSES!
