Greetings, Effurrybuddies - and Shavua Tov (a Good Week)!
And it really is a Good Week this time. The horrible, wet, cold, white stuff that made life miserable last Wednesday and, to an extent, Thursday, has all melted away, the Skywater has stopped falling and it is gloriously sunny (though still COLD)!
More of the Lockdown restrictions have been relaxed and it is now pawsible, amongst other things, to go to shopping malls and cultural purr-formances (the latter, only if you have a "Green Passport" showing you have either had your two doses of vaccine against the Evil Coronavirus OR have had the disease and recovered). And it is now pawsible also to hold gatherings of up to 10 people indoors, so Mummy's Caterwauling Club can resume activities in small groups, which they will be doing as of this evening. Mummy, however, is in the Second Group and will have to wait until later in the week - so We will have to put up with her caterwauling at home till then (mol).
And Furriday is PURR-IM (Saturday, if you live in Jerusalem, as We do). That is mostly a Good Thing, but We are afraid Mummy will take it into her head, as She sometimes does, to try and dress Us up in Fancy Dress.
We do not like that!!! If She tries, She will have a Rebellion on her hands!
Now, it is time to join this week's Blog Hops - the Caturday Art Blog Hop, hosted by the Wise and Beautiful Athena and her HuMum, Marie, and the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop, hosted by the Incredible Kitties Blue and their HuMum, Janet.
We have used the same photo for both blog hops. Here is the original, where you can see Me bathing in one of the many sunpuddles We have been enjoying when it wasn't snowing or raining. We like it because you can actually see the Sun's rays bathing Me in their Radiance! It kind of makes Me look like a Saint, with a halo, doesn't it (mol)?
To artify it, We used the Edtaonisl Effect at 50% and a simple, elegant frame from Mummy's prefurred photo-editing website, LunaPic:
And here are the Blog Hop Badges:
Stay safe. Stay well. We love you all!

Our Mom is hoping to get the vaccine soon, unfortunately it seems to be taking forever to get to her age group. Grandpa's second dose got delayed due to the freezing weather we had (sigh) we just wish that bad virus would go away.
That's a wonderful sunny selfie! I'm glad some normal is returning when you live, we're some time away from that here yet.
Shimshi, that is a great selfie, and it made for some wonderful art. We saw that Israel got lots of snow. We even saw a photo of President Rivlin throwing a snowball. But we are glad it is warmer there now.
Well, we are off to LunaPic for sure. We need some monkeying with my blog to keep it interesting...I'm not so good at dolling things up and I think I need a bit of that. MERCI, all of you.
That looks amazing!
We love both your selfie and the artwork, both are beautiful.
It will be months before the biped can be vaccinated, unless the decision is made to go with one shot instead of two. Apparently one alone is 80% or greater in its effectiveness, but the biped is a bit worried that these new studies she is hearing about are fudging the data in the interests of getting shots in arms faster. She works in a data analysis office and understands that you can manipulate the numbers to give you the desired results, at least to a point. Anyway, it will all work out in the end!
Take care and have a wonderful week. ❤️
Such a pretty lady you are ... and you're very smart, my Mom has her first shot (second comes soon) but she says, oh yes: must still do all the other impawtent things for a long time yet. I must admit though I get a little bit scaredy-cat when she has that mask on her face, she just doesn't look like Mom, plus I know it means she's leaving and I don't like her leaving ...
Excuse me! I am certainly furry good-looking but I am a Mancat!!!
So good to hear you are all moving forward with the Evil Virus in Isreal. Shimshi that is a wonderful selfie and makes a fine puzzle too
That was one pawsome sun puddle you found!
What a lovely sun puddle for you, and great art too.
We both had our first injection last week and get the second one in 12 weeks. Hopefully by summer we will be able to carefully enjoy a bit more freedom.
I love your artwork. The way the sunbeam is coming in is really cool! ~Ernie

That is a marvelous sunshiny and radiant selfie, Shimshi! And the art enhanced it so very much!
