Caturday Art and Sunday Guest Selfies to Honour a New Angel

 Hallo again, Effurrybuddies.

Our first post of 2021, like our last post of 2020, is going to be dedicated to commemorating another Angel Kitty.

This is Pizi, who received her Angel's Wings on Mew Year's Eve.

Pizi's Human was a non-blogging friend of Mummy's - Ms. F.  Effur since Mummy has known Ms. F., she has shared her home in Jerusalem with six or seven kitties. Not only that, but like Mummy, she also used to feed homeless kitties in her street effurry day.

In the Spring of 2020, Ms. F. travelled for what was supposed to be a short visit to her native Switzerland, to visit her own Mummy. Naturally, she took thought, as always, for her kitties and made sure they would be looked after till her return by a lady who has worked for her for many years and who knows all the kitties purrsonally.

And then came the Evil Coronavirus and made it impawsible for her fly home and be with her kitties. For months now, her own health issues and the pandemic have kept her trapped in Switzerland, while her furbabies have been faithfully cared for by Ms. I.

Beautiful Pizi was Ms. F.'s most senior ladycat. She was 18 years old when the Great Cat in the Sky called her home for a well-deserved rest. Ms. I., who has been looking after her all these months, was with her when she closed her eyes for the last time, so Pizi was not alone - but it must have been furry hard for Ms. F. to know that she could not be there to say goodbye to her sweet furbaby.

In tribute to Pizi, and because Ms. F. doesn't have her own blog, We are featuring her Selfie today as Our Honorary Repurrasentative on the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop, hosted by the dear Kitties Blue and their HuMom, Janet and on the Caturday Art Blog Hop, hosted by the beauteous Athena and her HuMum, Marie.

We used the Beauty filter from LunaPic, at 60%. We then framed the picture and hung it in the Louvre, with the assistance of PhotoFunia.

If you would like to leave messages of condolence for Pizi's Human, Ms. F., you can do so here. Mummy purromises to pass them on to her.

Now it is time to start blog hopping. Here are the blog hop badges:

Before We go, We want to wish you all Shavua Tov (A Good Week), and a Happy Mew Year for 2021. And to remind you and your humans that to make sure this year really is better than the last one, you need to keep practising Social Distancing, wear your facemasks and Wash Your Paws as often as you can.

Be Well. Be Safe.

We are SO sorry for Mrs. F. We're sending healing purrs and good thoughts. This Coronavirus is just so terrible, and it must be so hard to be stuck so far away from home.

Gentle purrs to your dear friend, Mrs. F on the loss of her sweet Pitzi. In the year just past, Pitzi will be welcomed, though sadly, by more loving friends and open arms than ever, and will surely find many who will love and cherish her in the good heavens above.
We pray for all of us, wherever we may be, the human family and our beloved community of pets so loved ~ that the new year's arrival will bring wellness, peace and joy.

That's heartbreaking. We're sending gentle purrs and prayers to Mrs. F. We can only imagine how hard it must be to have not been able to be with Pitzi, and to be stuck so far away from home.

Oh, dear, this is so sad, our eyes are very leaky to read this. We're sending our purrs and purrayers to both Ms F and Ms I; they both must be so heartbroken. ♥

Your tribute to dear sweet Pitzi is sweet and lovely. Now she is famous at the Louvre.

Us Angels, Pipo & Minko helped to welcome her at the RB...and we purr that Ms F will be comforted by the fact that she was not alone, but that kind Ms I was there to watch over her.

And sorry that you, the J-Cats family lost a good furend.

That is very sad that Ms.F couldn't be with Pitzi when she gained her wings and left for the Bridge. Please give her my condolences, and to Ms.I who looked after her so well.
I do hope Ms.F is soon able to return home. Your tribute art is lovely.

WE ARE SO SORRY TO HEAR OF PITZI'S PASSING, AND CAN IMAGINE HOW BADLY HER MAMA FEELS THAT SHE COULD NOT BE THERE, BUT AT LEAST SHE HAD INSURED THAT PITZI WAS NOT ALONE. WE ARE SURE SHE KNEW AND GAVE MUCH LOVE.

Made mummy's eyes leak a lot and her throat hurts some from holding back. That is so very very sad for both Pitzi's mommy and her dear friend Mrs I. Bless all their hearts and Pitzi, there were many there to greet you and snuggle with you. Your momma will know that by and by. xxx

How sad and just on New Year ! But 18 year is a good age for joining other cat angels over the rainbow bridge.

Pizi was a beautiful ladycat. There's something about her face and expression that makes her look a bit like a majestic jaguar. I'm so sorry Pizi's Mom was not able to be with her as she passed into Spirit World, but I'm glad Pizi had the comfort of her faithful caregiver.
