Shimshi's Sunny Sunday Selfie

Hallo again, Effurrybuddies!

Shavua Tov (a Good Week) to you all!

It's Sunday again, and time to join the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop hosted by the Kitties Blue and their HuMom, Janet

As We are furry disciplined (mol) and take things strictly in turn, Our Repurresentative this week is ME, The Mighty Shimshon (a.k.a. The Little Purrince) or Shimshi to My Furriends and Furrmily, Master of the Queen's Mischief, and Captain of the Guard.

Our choice of picture this week is this pawtrait of Me taken a couple of days ago, when Mr. Sunshine decided to put in an appurrence, in consequence of which, We had some furry impurressive sun puddles.  In fact, they were so impurressive that Mummy had to lower the blinds. If I remember aright, We were all three of Us reclined on the living-room sofa, but while Trixie and Caspurr were napping, I was taking MY Duties as the Master of the Queen's Mischief furry seriously (as I always do!) and Planning Something.

The weather has been furry funny this month. Days of torrential skywater, followed by clear blue skies, then partially cloudy skies, days when the Weather Guessers have said it would rain, but it didn't and days when Mummy's weather app in her phone said it would remain dry and sunny - only they were wrong!

Mummy says that's what it's like at the end of Winter, when Spring is just around the corner. And it is just around the corner, because the almond trees are already in blossom, and the geraniums in Mummy's window boxes are also coming into flower. So it can't be long now.

We also have news of Our Auntie, Mummy's Sister, the one who had an opurration on her hip on Mew Year's Day. She has now mostly recovered and is back at Work - half days only, supposedly, to begin with.

We have to wrap this up now, because Mummy needs the computer to write her own blog, about her gallivanting around the country. She gallivanted at the beginning of the month and She'll be gallivanting again later this week and you can read all about it in her blog, which is called The View From The Palace.

SO furrst of all, here is the Cat On My Head blog hop badge:

And off We go:

A most enjoyable and enjoying selfie this week! We must trust to our instincts rather than the app's I find. Plus if it looks like a sun puddle on the bed it probably is, and dry too, MOL
Have a great and warm week ahead!

We suspect you can predict the weather with far more accuracy than the human forecasters. :-D

We're glad that your Auntie is healing well, and able to return to work..."supposedly" for half-days at the moment. The way you wrote that leads us to believe that she might be determined, or stubborn, depending on your point of view--lol. Though we hope she won't overdo things and set her recovery back!

Take care, all of you, and have a lovely, warm week, with lots of sunshine!

That is a lovely selfie.
I don't take any notice of the weather apps any more. They said we would have a harsh cold winter. It has been one of the mildest and also wettest in 30 years!

Lovely selfie!

The weather has been very strange here in England. Lots of wind, hail and rain. And it's been going on for most of this month.

Wonderful news about your auntie, and enjoy those sun puddles while they last!

It's always nice to enjoy a sunpuddle. We've read some of your Mom's other blog. She goes so many places and shares so many photos. We like looking at them. It must take her hours & hours to choose the photos and write those travel posts. We also read about her dad's book and thought it was neat that he had a book.

We love your selfie, Shimshi. You certainly have had a lot of rain this year. I hear the Kinneret water level is getting higher and higher. :)

Well, Shimshi, that is quite a selfie. It's always good to take advantage of the sun. So many people seem to be recovering from hip surgery, me too! Wonder if it is contagious.
