Hallo again, Effurrybuddies!
This is going to be a furry short post, because tonight is the start of Rosh Hashana - the Mewish New Year - and Mummy needs her opposable thumbs to prepurr her part of the festive family meal, and can only put them at Our disposal for a furry short time. This time last year, if you recall, Mummy caught the Evil Mutant Ninja Coronavirus, which totally wrecked the plans for a Family Dinner! So We are anxious nothing should go wrong this time!
Last week, We said We weren't sure if We'd have time to post this week, but We really don't want to miss taking part in the weekend blog hops - the Caturday Art blog hop, hosted by the Wise and Beautiful Athena and her HuMum, Marie, and the Sunday Selfies blog hop, hosted by the Deliciously Unpredictable Kitties Blue and their HuMom, Janet.
So furrst of all, here is Our Sunday Snoozie -er - Selfie. Well, Ussie, if you want to be completely accurate:
And for the artsy-fartsy version, We have made a Rosh Hashana greeting card:
For those of you who don't understand Hebrew, Shana Tova (שנה טובה) means "a Good Year", which is what We wish you all. The apples and the honey and the pomegranates in the picture are traditional foods eaten on Rosh Hashana - apples and honey for a sweet year, and pomegranates, because they are said to have 613 seeds, corresponding with the 613 mitzvot (commandments) of the Torah.
Now it is time to add the blog hop badges:
Be well. Be safe. We love you all.
